I've been very happy with the service department. I've regularly gone to them for servicing on my Mazda 6. Never any unexpected charges. The car runs great! I've regularly gone to them for servicing on my Mazda 6. Never any unexpected charges. The car runs great! More
Since Morrey Mazda has merged and moved to the North Shore, customer service has noticeably gone downward. I've taken my Mazda (bought from Morrey Mazda) to the North Shore location twice now and both Shore, customer service has noticeably gone downward. I've taken my Mazda (bought from Morrey Mazda) to the North Shore location twice now and both times were extremely frustrating. The first time, I was supposed to get an hour and a half service done. They shuttled me to Park Royal and left me there for 3 hours. When I came back and asked why it took so long, the worker at the counter said that he wasn't sure because he noticed on my form that my car had in fact been ready an hour and a half earlier. The second time, they decided they would charge me 3 times for labour - once for the service, another for replacing my battery, and another for patching up a nail in my tire. In the end, because I knew it was wrong and argued with the man on the phone, he took off one of the labour charges. He had to because it didn't even make sense. I was told that a new battery would cost 89$ plus tax. He wrote 130$. I asked him why it was that much and he said it was because there's a 33$ labour charge. I may not understand calculus, but that doesn't add up. This was the charge that he ended up taking off. So I left my car there and he said he would call when it was ready. 3 hours later, I was still walking around the mall aimlessly and decided to go back to the dealership. I saw my car parked in the lot. So I went to pay and get my keys. I asked him why I wasn't called when my car was ready and he said it had just come out of the wash two minutes ago and that he doesn't call customers until the car's leaving the wash. Fine. So I went outside to get my car. It was bone dry. For the quality of work, I put a 2 because they have scammed me on that too. They have charged me for checking my auto-lock because I told them it wasn't working consistently. They told me they replaced the little battery in the handheld lock/unlock device. It wasn't better. I was charged for this. More
