rusted out frame bought 2002 chev impala, $ 2300.00. was told by saleslady that car was in good condition, if you look at top and interior, the car looked new. low mil bought 2002 chev impala, $ 2300.00. was told by saleslady that car was in good condition, if you look at top and interior, the car looked new. low mileage 112000km., got the car, but their office people made me sign a bunch of papers saying as is, that didn't sink in to me until I got the car home and went to jack it up, opp,s the jack was going through the rocker panels, so had to find another way to jack-up. once in the air, found frame rusted out, so called dealership and they told me it was now my problem, that they were not taking it back!!!! thank you mont blue ford for ripping me out of $2300.00 . was trying to help my son by getting a car to travel back n forth to work!!!! also we are just pensioned off !!!!!!!!! will never deal with any quebec car dealers , as the law in quebec doesn't protect the buyers More
Dishonest Dealership Unfortunately I have to write a negative review for dishonesty of the manager and staff when it comes to selling a vehicle at Mont-Bleu Ford. I test drove a used vehicle that had obvious mechanical and safety issues such as major rust, dragging brakes, No emergency brake, hole in the muffler, broken front and rear bumper and chipped windshield ( not at eye level so not a safety concern) The vehicle had no winter tires but it is mandatory for vehicle to have it in Quebec if sold in winter.... The ad on their website said: "Original plated Quebec, this vehicle is offered to you with the safety and E-TEST for the residents of the province of Ontario and certified for Quebec" The sales person said that the manager has told him the car is sold AS-IS and not satisfied. That's false advertising for you right there... I was going to pay cash for this 2005 Lincoln Town car and didn't need financing but the sales person mentioned right away that there is no financing option for this vehicle. The ad says : We offer 2th and 3 th chance financing - Mont-Bleu Ford, YOUR FORD Dealer in Gatineau/Ottawa region. False advertising # 2 .... The manager also said the vehicle has no history of accident. guess what! FALSE. The car proof ( Provided by the dealer) says it has been repaired at the dealer (Middle Front) due to accident.... I guess they are hoping that you won't read the papers they give you.... Overall the dishonesty i experienced with this dealership and specially the manger (Eric) was outrageous. I would not recommend buying from these guys, if you have to .. do your homework before you walk in cause they are after your pockets. More
Not satisfied at all (you must read before you buy) We have bought alot of vehicules from Mont Blue Ford in the last few years, my son bought a bran new truck 2012 F150 Harley Davidson in June 2012 and We have bought alot of vehicules from Mont Blue Ford in the last few years, my son bought a bran new truck 2012 F150 Harley Davidson in June 2012 and in July 2012 I bought a (used) BMW Roadster convertible which was fine a beauty and in August 2012 my husband bought a Camaro SS 2011 convertible with low mileage, and my daughter in law is leasing a 2014 Ford Fiesta, so we are giving Mont Bleu Ford alot of business and alot of money. After the 1st year my son started having problems with the truck it kept on draining the battery so for a week they kept his truck because they couldn't find the problem after a lot of mecanics they found the problem, and this spring my husband decided to lease a F250 for the company and this year in June I decided that I needed a better car for the winter so I went back to Mont Blue Ford and I trade my 2010 Mazda 5with very low mileage and my BMW for a 2014 Ford Fusion so I test drive a brand new 2013 Ford Fusion fully equipped and I fell in love with it, and I gave Todd the sales rep the go ahead to start the paper work to see how much they were gonna give me for my 2 cars he had said 13,000.00 for my BMW and 9,000.00 for Mazda 5so I said OK it should almost clear my 2 cars so I told him to make the deal for the 2013 Ford Fusion so I waited a week and called him back to see when can I come to pick up the Fusion, and he said I was waiting for you to give me the go ahead with the deals but the whole time they had sold the car to someone else and he told me don't worry I found another but its a 2014 Ford Fusion SE fully equipped for 10,000.00 less and very low mileage and he said its a very good deal, so when it was time to sign the papers the amount they where suppose to give me for the 2 cars was not the same anymore went down 3,000.00 and they had told me the car was going to be ready in the afternoon so when I got there of course it wasn't ready so when the young sale's rep Jonathan or Sebastien brought the car outside he didn't have time to check the car so I said to him there some scratches on the back bumper and very deep scratches on the front bumper part of the skirt was missing and the rim was dented and there was no carpet in the car at all, so he said not to worry we'll order the paint to match to repair the scratch, and will take the carpets from the next shipment that will be coming in next week, so I waited weeks and weeks gone by car still not fix and I kept on getting the run around so in September I went to see Todd to see when my car was gonna get fix and he said I'll call you on Monday to tell when to bring it in, so I waited 1 week send a text to Todd no answer 2nd week send another text no answer 3rd week still no answer and after 4 weeks I decided to go on a Saturday in person at Mont Blue Ford to see Todd but he was gone on a delivery so they have a new director of sales and I told him everything that was going on all the run around that I had and he took my name and number he said he was gonna talk to Todd to see what they had promised me and he was gonna call me on Monday for the appointment to bring in my car and Thursday comes around and still no calls from the new director, so I call and he said oh yes service will call you to set up an appointment but Todd calls me to say bring in your car Monday morning. So yesterday I left my car there all day so when I went to pick it up I still could see the deep scratches on the front bumper so I was livid I call Todd and I asked him what do they have done to my car all day he said the guy buffed it for 4 hours and I said I still can see the scratches and I told him this is it this is the last time they gonna see me there, so beware because when they say it fully load its not because I still have to put a car starter for this winter and 4 winter tires no GPS and if I want all 3 of these item it'll be over 1000.00 because only for the car starter its 500.00 because it has to be from Ford. I am really disappointed in the service they give you once you leave their lot. I am a very patient person but I have my limits. And even the owner George Petri was always happy to see me, of course I gave him a lot of business. Lise More
Do not recommend Visited dealership in May for test drive. Had to wait for sales person, then had to wait for vehicle to be fueled. Recommended to Salesperson this vehicle should have been filled prior to scheduled appointment . Liked vehicle, offered price but no deal as we were a bit off and walked away. After looking at other comparables, called back and ok'd the counter offer from salesperson. Went back and shook hands on deal and typical "car salesman" said will have to clear through George and he will work HIS magic because he liked us and we were nice (gag) A WEEK later, after several calls to manager, realized we were being jerked around and told them to get stuffed. Happy to see 3 months later, car still on lot. KARMA IS A xxxxx. Have told everyone of horrible experience and do not recommend. Lallier Honda was AMAZING and we bought from them:)) More
Poor cust service, false info on site. Used car broke after 2 weeks needed new engine. Dealer refused to compensate or replace in anyway. Was yelled at by sales mgr. I bought a truck "as-is" from this dealer.... so, I figured the truck will at least be mechanically sound for the road. They assured me they had two mechanics verify that. What I found out after the fact is that the truck is barely safe and requires $2500 of additional repairs. Unfortunately, I'm NOT a mechanic so I was relying on the dealer to be honest with me during the sale. When I called the dealer, because I signed all the "As-Is" forms.. it's basically too bad for me. So, good lesson learned.. in my personal opinion, you can't trust entirely what this dealer says about the trucks they sell you! Ensure you get the Quebec safety AND that you get your own mechanic to verify the vehicle before you buy it, or you will be stuck with a lemon like I am. Good luck! More
