I was also able to discuss bringing in my second car the next day, which needed a tire replacement due to a cut in the tire sidewall and was reassured the tire was going to be a the dealership ready to be installed ! 163K maintinance My 2012 Titan has been serviced at Midway after my purchase from a Kitchener Nissan dealership. I found that when I called Midway to secure an appoi My 2012 Titan has been serviced at Midway after my purchase from a Kitchener Nissan dealership. I found that when I called Midway to secure an appointment that the trucks service and maintenance information was not familiar with the CSR that accepted my call. My appointment was for routine maintenance, seasonal swap tires and analyse the air conditioning unit as warm air was blowing out of the vents also check wiper condition. This being said, when I picked up my truck (6:00 p.m.) the CSR reviewed the repairs made that day with me. Air Conditioning was found faulty however the leak could not be detected and additional service would be required as well as front end worn parts that were recommended replacement. My Titan is a 2012 model with roughly 164K; the majority of my driving is highway and I am not abusive to my vehicle(s) as it is part of my means to do my business. I find that my 2012 Titan has had far too many issues with wearing parts early in its life (some not warranty covered???) and similar problems are continuing with related components shortly after the extended warranty expired. The warranty and extended warranty have surpassed and the truck is starting to show its true cost and dependability. I typically retain my vehicles for 10+ years; I do not have the confidence in my Titan that it will last without having to invest money in replacing what I consider premature wearing of key components for a work vehicle. It is not a passenger vehicle..................... Outside of routine maintenance, My Titan has undergone several major repairs: 1- Rear differential leaking 103,427 klm. 2-Replace both lower ball joints and one side rod outer socket aas'y arms and disc. 132,290 klm. 3-Replace front diff pinion seal and flange, replace both power steering lines due to corrosion caused by the steel clip that holds the lines in place (?????) 145,185 klm. 4- Wire corrosion in rear tail lights 151,292 klm. 5- Replace rear parking brake shoes fell apart due to corrosion 158,373klm. 6- Left outer tie rod, right front wheel bearing recommend replacement @ 163,875 klm. I will be servicing my Titan at an independent mechanic that has looked after my other vehicles for 26 years. This is the first vehicle that I have trusted with the Manufacturers Dealer. I do not find the Dealer at fault for the repairs, but I will say that my Titan has religiously had every Maintenance preformed as recommended by Nissan. My thought is to turn the blame to the CSR and Technicians that performed the work and why the issues were not addressed before they became issues. Perhaps this dealership is turning over too many vehicles in their service bays to generate income. I also believe that Nissan may be using inferior parts in the assembly of their vehicles. I enjoy my Titan, it is a great looking vehicle, safe and comfortable to drive; I just don't like all the rear surprises on a 5 year old vehicle. More

Ordering a replacment part I ordered a replacement door window gasket before I left for Florida, Rodney called me just before I left to say the part was in. I told him I would be going away and he suggested I call them upon my return to arrange a time to have it installed. When I returned from the trip I had a voicemail message from Lynda saying they had the part and did I still want it. I returned the call and related the story to her. We arranged for a time to have it installed. In order for the dealership to be a little more efficient I would suggest that a note be attached to a part when it is being held for a customer so that an additional call can be avoided. Otherwise the issue was dealt with very professionally. More
