TL;DR Do NOT go here. Came across a 2017 Mazda CX5 online that we were interested in. Upon arrival we met the salesman who will remain un-named, who then proceeded to simply tech-dump and mansplain the details of the car to me and my wife. Test drive was fine. I called a trusted friend while we were at the dealership to ensure we asked all the right questions and didn't miss anything. My friend reminded me to check the glass. Make sure theres no cracks etc., because the dealership should not sell a car with cracked glass etc for liability. This car had a significant spiderweb crack in the bottom right of the windshield that they knew about (because it was stated on the inspection report upon later viewing) and still tried to sell the car as is, mentioning "just report a claim to ICBC". We were stunned they'd suggest that to us. We negotiated on replacing the glass as that is not our fault and they should not be selling it in that condition. Eventually the manager agreed that they would replace the glass. Negotiating with the salesman and manager was the worst. They hardly budged an inch after multiple back and forths. The manager even told me at one point "don't buy this vehicle if you can't afford it" in a demeaning tone. If a car dealership isn't willing to negotiate at all, then they should clearly state that. The manager and salesman even got into a brief "argument" in front of us regarding what could and could not be done about the price. This was very uncomfortable to watch. They ended up coming down just a few hundred dollars and I received the paperwork from the business manager, where we were instructed to bring a bank draft when the vehicle was ready. Once I got home and checked the math...the math was wrong. The balance owing did not make sense and was higher than the agreed upon price with the salesman. Called the business manager the next day - There ended up being a $600 HIDDEN EXTRA fee that no one mentioned that goes to Mazda Canada. She immediately felt bad and without hesitation removed their internal $600 documentation fee to reach the agreed upon pricing... Yet we were told previously by the salesman and manager that the doc fee is non negotiable. Once I came to collect the car, we dealt with a different business manager. He was the only good part of this entire experience. He was very empathetic towards the experience we had and was surprised at the extra fee. He mentioned that fee should only be applied to brand new vehicles. In conclusion, we had a terrible experience. Go to another Mazda dealer. Car was nice though. More
Worst service department I have ever dealt with! ! Took them having my car for almost 8 weeks before I could even get a courtesy car, then when I did it was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen ! They do not care about their clients, neither does Mazda Canada. 2 years later and never a word back from Mazda Canada. AVOID this dealership/service department at all costs. Had to take my car back in a week after I picked it up, to a different location and found out parts of my engine put together with zip ties, yep that's how they fix cars!! More
Midway Mazda's Service Department is an absolute rip off, take your vehicle anywhere else for service. I brought my vehicle in for a recall at 8m. They said the recall would take 45 min. I asked them to also take your vehicle anywhere else for service. I brought my vehicle in for a recall at 8m. They said the recall would take 45 min. I asked them to also to see why the dash would sometimes fail to power off when the car was turned off. At 905am I received a call that the recall was finished and they would need to replace a switch to fix the other problem. They said they would have it done by 10am and quoted $440. I told them to go ahead and fix it. At 10am my car was finished. On the invoice they charged for 3 hours of labor at $135 an hour for a total of $405 in labor. Considering that the recall was the first 45min I was charged $405 for 1hr and 15 min of work. They only had my car for 2 hours and I was charged for 3 hours of labor. More

Evan is going out to help fix a brake problem. He took my car in twice for no charge, even though the issue was still there, he said to bring it back and will fix the problem now that he heard the issue.
