Catastrophic engine failure Against better judgement I supercharged my 2012 Mustang GT which led to engine failure. Because of this the warranty was voided. The service dept at Against better judgement I supercharged my 2012 Mustang GT which led to engine failure. Because of this the warranty was voided. The service dept at Midtown Ford did everything they could to keep the cost down as I am on a pension. Their advice, support and co-operation made this stessfull situation a lot easier do deal with. Shady practices So, I went into the dealer to buy a used vehicle, and got my trade appraised, and came to an agreement on the price with Sam. Then a few days later I So, I went into the dealer to buy a used vehicle, and got my trade appraised, and came to an agreement on the price with Sam. Then a few days later I call in to take the car for a test drive, and the salesman tells me that the tires had to be replaced after someone popped it during a test drive, and I gotta pay another $400 on top of the price agreed upon. How the hell am I responsible for paying that? They weren't even willing to talk about it, and were adamant on me paying the $400. I told them that there's no way I'm paying that, and walked away. Complete joke of a dealership. I've never seen or heard of anything like this before. Stay away. More
