Car went wen into emergency mode and had it towed to this dealer in late 2011. They said it was a battery issue, charged me over $600 to change the battery. The car went through the exact same pattern a fe dealer in late 2011. They said it was a battery issue, charged me over $600 to change the battery. The car went through the exact same pattern a few weeks later. This time they said it was the alternator for which they would have to change me $1300 plus labour. The alternator was changed, then they said the problem was not fixed and they would have to change the computer in car and this would cost another $1100. The computer was put in and blew. I said they clearly hadn't found the real problem. They had the car for over a over a week before they said it was an electrical short. ITo add insult to injury, the car had been promised to me to me the Friday and when I arrived it wasn't ready and was told I would not get it until the following Tuesday after the Family day holiday. After some objection to this inconsiderate customer service, a lady gave me a loaner until the Tuesday. They then wanted to charge me close to $3,000 for repairs. After objecting to this unanticipated amount, they dropped it it to arond $2,500. I also asked for the old alternator back and they said they would have to charge me for it, as they had already discounted my bill and they would make the money back by refurbishing it. A day or so later, we noticed that the seat controls in the car weren't working and figured it was related to the electrical malfunction. After we took it in, they wanted to charge another $600 to replace the auxiliary battery. We opted not to do so as we considered it a likely by-product of the previous work. They nonetheless turned around and charged us another $130. I would be interested in knowing from an objective third party if these dealing were fair, or whether I was had. More
will not respect warranty and perform repair covered bunder warranty. Servicing slow and painful. Never have in stock the required parts. You end up having to go back a second time. Don't listen to bunder warranty. Servicing slow and painful. Never have in stock the required parts. You end up having to go back a second time. Don't listen to complaints. You have to mention a problem again and again before they end up looking into it. More
