I always check with other dealers when its time to trade but always come back to Menzies as I always get the best allowance for my trade and the best price on a new vehicle...The service department is another reason I deal with Menzies as they are knowledgeable and understanding,whether it is a warranty issue or a general mechanical problem,I have always received great no hassle service. My wife and myself were looking for another vehicle, we were kind of drawn to the Dodge Journey, because my father has one and he seems quite pleased with it, we met with a salesman, who was quite friendly were kind of drawn to the Dodge Journey, because my father has one and he seems quite pleased with it, we met with a salesman, who was quite friendly and helpful, we tested 2 vehicles, the journey, and caravan, we picked the 2010 journey. after a couple of weeks we had noticed a noise when we stopped, and then reversed, it seemed to be the brakes, and a poor atempt to fix paint scratches on the hood, and front right lower fender coming loose, I went to the service department, the shop forman took vehicle for a drive, he said everything seemed ok, how can he tell unless a mechanic removed the wheels and checked brake operation, this was not done, as far as the body problem, they sent me to a body shop in Ajax, got an estimate, said I would be without vehile for a couple of days, I asked about a loaner vehicle, none was going to be supplied, so as you can see my experience with Menzies service department has not been a pleasant one, I would not recomend this dealer to any of my friends or enemies. My fiancee and I attempted to purchase a truck from Menzies and decided to fill out the pre approval before entering the dealership, so that we would be prepared for purchase. After filling it out and obtaining our pre approval we test drove the vehicle and found that the it had not been maintained during its time at Menzies as the tire pressure was low on all four tires and the gas gauge was empty. We decided to ignore this and continue our process. We proceeded to pay phone tag for 7 days so that we would be able to sit down and discuss cost and term. We did this until on the 7th day, at that point we had to email our salesmen stating the process had been too lengthy with far too little communication to let us know what had been going on. We have yet to receive an apology for this poor service and hope it is a fluke as we were recommended this dealership by a family friend. More

Steve Jimmo and the rest of the people we dealt with at Menzies did not have your typical 'used car salesman' approach. Our experience with him was smooth and convenient, without any pressure. He served us well, although he did ask us to start the price negotiations. (I should have started lower ha ha). It's an unfortunate, sometimes awkward necessity in the car sales industry for some, but it was fairly painless. Where he could improve was in the after sales support. We are experiencing a minor mechanical issue with our vehicle and he is a little slower to respond than when we were purchasing the car, but he is helping. Overall, I would highly recommend him and Menzies. Friendly staff, clean dealership and good prices. More

My family and I visited many dealerships searching for a new vehicle. Many where either over priced or not interested in making a sale..especially having two kids running around. It was late in the day, but Steve was not only professional, but patient, reasonable the deal was incomparable when you consider the service. The price was reasonable, but Steve also took the time to ensure the kids were happy too. Even our three year old was excited about the new truck. We are very happy and glad we found Menzies. More

I went to this dealership twice to inquire about buying a new or used car (the second time a year later) . The salesman I dealt with was rude and talked down to me both times. If he thought he was not going new or used car (the second time a year later) . The salesman I dealt with was rude and talked down to me both times. If he thought he was not going to make the sale in the first 5 minutes he got pushy and demanding. Told me the first time he wasn't sure why I was there. The second told me it was pointless to take the material on the vehicle, he demanded to know why I didn't buy the vehicle the year before. I will never buy vehicle at this dealership, and recommend people should avoid Menzies unless they want to deal with pushy rude sales staff. More
