Took my van in for service appointment. Was promptly and politely greeted. Service and pricing clearly explained and Lyft home arranged. Hi there, this is my first review of anything online. On Feb.24/24 my wife and I made an appointement over the phone to test-drive a Toyota Venza with Deepak at Meadowvale Honda. We arrived on time but w On Feb.24/24 my wife and I made an appointement over the phone to test-drive a Toyota Venza with Deepak at Meadowvale Honda. We arrived on time but we were told that he is dealing with another customer. We sat in a waiting area until he was ready. We were introduced to another employee who accompanied us on a test drive. After each question about the vehicle he responded with, "Sorry, I don't know because I sell Hondas." When we returned, we sat with Deepak for what turned out to be approximately one and a half hours. During that time I gave him my car key so that my car could be evaluated. For the one and a half hours I was there, I asked multiple times to get my car key back. When he asked what I wanted for my trade-in, he wrote it down in front of him, then asked me 2 more times what I wanted for my trade-in. When I asked him what the trade-in value was for the Venza he said that he didn't know. When I asked him who would know the value, he replied that it would be someone from a different department and he didn't know them. He brought over a manager to speak with us. The manager asked us how much we wanted for the trade-in. When I repeated my answer, the manager then wanted to have an additional manager come and speak with us. I asked again, for my car key and the manager said to Deepak to retrieve it for me. It was then that my wife and I left the dealership. As of the time of this writing, the vehicle is being advertised for a price lower than my offer with Deepak. So, if you are bored and want to spend time in a car dealership repeatedly answering their questions and enjoying the ambiance of large windows, polished vinyl flooring and continuous digital advertising, then I suggest you go to Meadowvale Honda. My rating of the 2 stars is to acknowledge the cleaning staff for the building and vehicles. More
