"Would not recommend" is an under-statement I would never recommend this dealer, nor even consider buying a Honda after my experience with Meadowvale Honda. Their level of professionalism is laughable, and I wouldn't recommend buying a car from their inventory. I was looking for a used Toyota online when I came across a trade-in they were advertising on their site. I was interested in similar models for similar price or cheaper throughout the GTA, but decided to look into the car at Meadowvale further because it was closest to my personal mechanic. After my mechanic gave me the "A-OK" on the car, I decided to call in to put an offer in which was in no means a "low-ball" offer but was more in line with the car's actual value. I was told that another person was looking at the car, and they would only accept an offer at full-price. I expected some games, but told them my offer was firm and to call back if the other offer fell through. A few days later, I heard nothing but had seen online that they had dropped the original price of the car. A few days later I went to the dealership to try to place an offer again. When I was greeted, it was the same xxxxxxxx they tried before about speaking with another person placing an offer. I had no problem calling them out on their xxxxxxxx, and asked to be directed to the manager. However, I was just re-directed back to the original seller. I went in with the same offer (which was only approx. $200 cheaper than what they had dropped the price to) but said the prices were made by upper management. I asked if they would consider throwing in, the very least, to install winter tires but said no and offered us a lousy $25 rebate on any services at their location and a full tank of gas (which really, should be included either way). They said they could have the car ready before the new year, but it wasn't ready until a few days after. When I went to pick up the car, naturally, I checked the paperwork and car with a fine-tooth comb. There were multiple mistakes on the paperwork, the most recent oil change was 3 months and the car power locks were broken (which was said to be checked and functional on the paperwork). When challenged about why the power-locks weren't working if the paperwork implicitly said they were functional the dealer became rude and began to talk over me. I took the initiative to speak with the actual manager, and he said I would have to go to one of their mechanics on my own time to fix the issue. After, the dealer was very apologetic but I went to their mechanic (approx. 30 minutes from my home) and he said the power-locks needed to be replaced. He said he would call me in a couple days to book an appointment... When they didn't call back for two weeks, and calling with no answer I had my Dad call. It seems like they forgot, but I was able to book an appointment that week. They offered no replacement vehicle for the 4 1/2 hours it would take to replace the power locks. Instead, they offered to drive me to a local country style until it was fixed. In sum, I understand that used-cars are not their priority but bad business is BAD business. More

Why take your car anywhere else. I just wanted to say what an amazing experience I had recently with Meadowvale Honda. My car broke down and I had it towed there. Today, gave them their last chance...they called me at the location I asked to be brought to (late, by the way) shuttle took forever and then got lost and had to pull a u-ee getting another customer (this with GPS in the car)..then he gets me to the dealership...car still NOT actually ready. Last time I come here. More
