I had a response quickly and my date and time was confirmed. As usual Haji the service adviser looked after my concerns. My ride to/from the dealership was quick and on time. Standard work was completed as needed but from a manufacturing perspective the 2015 Ford Escape has been dreadful. After 18 months the AC vents would not change positions but I let it go too long and surpassed warranty KMs (my fault I guess). I could have it fixed for $400.00 based on $110/hour shop rate. That's a pretty high overhead for Vehicle technicians now that they no longer use licensed mechanics. My 2 previous escapes were great but this restyled version is tinny and rattle sounding, extremely smaller interior, especially trunk area and just overall a disappointment. The people are great More
Poor satisfaction I have been a loyal Customer of meadowvale ford since 2010. Had an excellent experience with my Ford Escape that I had purchases in 2010, so I bought I have been a loyal Customer of meadowvale ford since 2010. Had an excellent experience with my Ford Escape that I had purchases in 2010, so I bought my second car Ford Focus sedan at the strong recommendation of the sales rep. This I regret to date . The car has lots of issues which unfortunately forces me to visit the dealer frequently. And since the car trouble are manufacturer related I don’t have to pay for repairs but there is a long waiting period. My previous service agent was polite and courteous, she has left so I am now dealing with a cocky service agent who thinks it’s funny to make fun of my car if done in British accent . Since he has taken over each time I get me car back from service it has dirt in interior. There is also a boot mark at the roof which could only have happened during service . I went to the dealer because my rear passenger door opened , they kept my car at workshop for half a day and declined getting the door locks changed and returned my car with trunk also stuck . I asked them why - they said they have to replicate the door problem , I asked them how did they replicate , according to them they open and closed all four doors a hundred times each . I think that rattled up the car and caused the trunk issue as well. This was an internal problem that ford refuses to fix . I don’t think I can trust ford anymore because they will only try to fix issues for two years and then give you attitude. I don’t feel safe driving the car at all. When I got the air filter changed - I had to get it changed again the very next month - I don’t check and trust them - maybe I should check and supervise all service and ask for another service agent.
