Outstanding Service I moved to the area about a year ago so I was looking for a dealership to assume the maintenance on my Lincoln MKZ. I tried a few dealerships but now I moved to the area about a year ago so I was looking for a dealership to assume the maintenance on my Lincoln MKZ. I tried a few dealerships but now I strictly use McAlpine because Nick does exactly what he says he is going to do. There are 2 Ford dealerships closer to me but I go to McAlpine because Nick and the McAlpine team take care of my car like it was their own. No unnecessary waiting and every detail is taken care of. Efficient, responsible and friendly customer service I recently purchased a gently used car from McAlpine and have been treated very well by sales, service and reception staff. There have a been a couple I recently purchased a gently used car from McAlpine and have been treated very well by sales, service and reception staff. There have a been a couple of small problems with the car that have been dealt with in a timely fashion and the staff have made sure I wasn't inconvenienced at all. I appreciate the dedication to their product and to excellent customer service and would recommend anyone give the dealership the opportunity to assist them. I will return for my car's regular maintenance and have total confidence in the service department. More
If you're a man, you're treated royally. Woman? Forget it! I went in recently to get an oil change done. Close to home, so figured I would go. Got there at 1:30. I was told it would be one hour or even longer. I went in recently to get an oil change done. Close to home, so figured I would go. Got there at 1:30. I was told it would be one hour or even longer. A guy came in at 2 for an oil change and was out in 15 min, while I STILL waited. When I asked why it took so long, Jason told me that some cars take longer to do oil changes on. Total xxxxxxxx answer. Just cus I'm a woman, they think I'm stupid and don't know anything. I should have been done before anyone after me came in for the same job. NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN. More
Avoid at all costs! Do NOT... i repeat DO NOT buy ANYTHING at this dealership. McAlpine ford is the closest Ford dealer to my house, so I decided to go in and get a price Do NOT... i repeat DO NOT buy ANYTHING at this dealership. McAlpine ford is the closest Ford dealer to my house, so I decided to go in and get a price for a new mustang. They refused to offer 1 dollar below MSRP unless I was willing to buy that day. I told them I was shopping around and had prices from other dealers. Then they rudely said that they wont give me a price, because then I would take it to the next dealer as a baseline. I told them I wouldn't, yet they refused to give me a price. The manager, Randy Winstone, had the nerve to tell me to get the best price elsewhere, and come back. He said they will match it... MATCH IT. Not beat, MATCH. Why would I bust my xxx getting a good price, and give the money to these xxxxxxxx. The main problem was the sales manager, Randy Winstone, which is why I wont name the sales people in this review. The next week, I drove 2 hours to a good dealership out west and bought my mustang in under an hour. Great price, great service, no xxxxxxxx. Within a week of owning my mustang, I noticed an issue (covered under warranty). I took it into the service department at McAlpine ford. I spoke with Jason Waugh, manager of the quick lane. At first they seemed to have time, but then they asked where I bought the car. Once they found out that it was at a different dealership, they rudely told me to "take it there then". I told them that I don't want to drive 2 hours for something covered under warranty. They replied with, "well thats too bad, we are booked up for the month". Such xxxxxxxx. Had I bought the car from them, they would have looked at it. That day I took the car to another nearby ford dealer, and they fixed it no questions asked. This dealership is an absolute joke. Both sales and service suck. I dealt with 3 different people and the store manager was by far the most arrogant person I have ever dealt with in a dealership of any brand. Save your time and money. Randy seem to very arrogant and I caught him lying and when I told him so....he said go elsewhere and walked away from me. He was very rude and also was Tony the sales guy as there price was $700.00 more when I told him so....he said go elsewhere and walked away from me. He was very rude and also was Tony the sales guy as there price was $700.00 more than any other quote that I had got. More
Summary is I took my truck in to be appraised by salesman Chris Rose, he told me they would give me $22K for it but when I went back to do the deal they would only give me $18K. Not sure what kind of game he Chris Rose, he told me they would give me $22K for it but when I went back to do the deal they would only give me $18K. Not sure what kind of game he was playing or what he thought would happen, but he sure wasted a lot of my time a gas! Here is how it played out: I submitted a request for quote through Ford's website. Chris Rose called and said he couldn't get the details of what I had selected on the truck. We review what I thought I wanted, and he gave me a price and said they would give me up to $22K for my truck but they would have to see it. I made an appointment to take it in to him. I told him I was checking with 5 dealers and wanted his lowest price and if it was the lowest he would get the deal. He said it wasn't fair to him and that I would just tell the next guy what he had to beat. I told he I wouldn't and if he wanted to get the deal that was the arrangement. He said OK and filled out the form for appraisal and took my keys and got someone and they went out and looked at the truck and came back and said OK $22K and gave me a price for the new truck. I had a couple of other dealers to still see so I told him I would let him know in a day or two. His price was good so I made an appointment to see him that Friday, when I got there and started to review what he quoted we realized we had different options in mind. That was my fault not understanding exactly what I was asking for when requesting the quote. I told him I would think about the new price and let him know. I booked an appointment with him for 11AM on the Tuesday to finalize the deal. When I got there the receptionist said he wasn't in. When I told her I had an appointment she called him and he said he would be 45 minutes to an hour. I ask to see the sales manger and asked if there was someone else who could help and he put me onto another salesman who reviewed everything in detail, and then said would have to appraise my truck because they couldn't find the paperwork that Chris had done on it. They did it and came back with $18K when I told them Chris had it appraised and told me $22K they said no way can't go that high. The sales manager said "Don't know who appraised it because none of us have seen it." I left very annoyed and told them It was BS and that I would share it with everyone I know. About an hour later the sales manager called and asked what he could do to straighten out the situation, and I told him give me the $22K his salesman had quoted me. He said can we meet in the middle and I said no not at this point. He said he would check and call me back. He didn't call me back so about 4 hours later I called him to see what was up and he said no he couldn't go that high. So I left and bought it at Blackstock Ford in Orangeville, and it was a pleasure dealing with them. More
