The absolute worst experience of my life when dealing with a car dealership. I visited this dealership to book a service and to address a Ford recall notice to repair a leaking windshield. I have had all with a car dealership. I visited this dealership to book a service and to address a Ford recall notice to repair a leaking windshield. I have had all my maintenance done at Marigold for the 3 years that I have owned this vehicle. Because it was a windshield issue, Owen Patterson walked me to the body shop to schedule a date and time to address the recall. I was absolutely SHOCKED to be told by Mr. Steve Miceli that he would not carry out the repair as I had not purchased the vehicle from Marigold Ford!!!! This vehicle was purchased in Kingston Ontario. There is no chance that I am driving this back to Kingston when I live in Whitby. We are talking about a simple fix (Remove the windshield, Replace the gasket and reinstall the windshield). Needless to say, I immediately drove to Fraser Ford, explained my experience at Maigold and was faced with utter disbelief that your dealership took this attitude. My vehicle is now booked in at Fraser to deal with the recall, the service that is now due and of course all future maintenance and vehicle purchases. I will be reporting this matter to Ford Motor Company and will have no problem relaying my experience to the few Ford owners in my circle who have been servicing their vehicles at your dealership. National warranty owners and Ford owners dealing with recalls should NEVER be turned away unless the issue requires specialized performance components. I have been in the automotive industry for the past 40 years and have yet to ever hear about or experience such pitiful service, especially from the department manager. Needless to say, Fraser Ford in Oshawa took care of the service and recall in a matter of days...NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!! More
