Bad first experience with Mazda My wife and I were looking for a new car. We surfed around and saw an amazing 2014 Mazda 2 GS with a bunch of options on it for $16K and only 6K kms My wife and I were looking for a new car. We surfed around and saw an amazing 2014 Mazda 2 GS with a bunch of options on it for $16K and only 6K kms on it. So far so good. We live in Kingston and the dealership was in Vaughan so I was dealing with Sheldon over the phone and through email. He provided a bunch of info and also a video of the car. Nice touch. Things were still good at this point. Financing was arranged to purchase the car. The finance person Bill offered discounts on the financing in exchange for me purchasing extended warranty and an undercoating. Seemed a little shady to me but I like the idea of the extended warranty so I agreed to it. Then things went downhill fast. On the day I arranged to pick up the car I was rushed into signing the paperwork without even seeing the car. When I did see the car there were several paint chips, a scuffed hubcap and it was missing the advertised Bluetooth option. When I complained I was apologized about the paperwork signing rush. Apparently this is how they normally process delivery according to Ryan the manager. They also outright refused to negotiate on the price despite my concerns. The paint chips complaint they resolved by sending me a vial of touch up paint. No response about the hubcap. The Bluetooth issue was very disappointing. They first offered me an aftermarket solution that I didnt want as it would be an eyesore on the dash. I requested the official Mazda one which was also cheaper but apparently they couldn't order it as it was a USA part so I settled on a visor clip model just to put the issue to rest. I love the car. I would totally buy a Mazda again. Maybe I was expecting too much but I would not go to this dealership again. They resolved my complaints to an extent but I feel they could have done more. More
Comforting, fun and excellent experience! As this was my first time buying a car I was very nervous and did not know much. As I walked in Sheldon made sure I was helped right away. He made sure I knew everything about the car and assured me that this would be the car for me. I was then introduced to Bill and Paul. These employees have helped my sister with her Mazda3 therefore I knew I was in the right hands. Overall, with Sheldon's expertise I was able to feel comfortable in the Mazda when I drove away with it and I also knew my financing was all sorted out with the help of Bill and Paul. More

Friendly, respectful and willing to do whatever necessary In the market for another car and in no hurry to get a new one, we had researched other makes and models, visited other dealerships, left messages, et In the market for another car and in no hurry to get a new one, we had researched other makes and models, visited other dealerships, left messages, etc. Sheldon at Maple Mazda was always there to answer emails and phone calls and follow up with us. No other dealership did that. Once through the door, it was obvious to my husband why my daughter purchased her vehicle at Maple Maza. Everyone had a smile for us, we were not kept waiting and through some very tough negotiating and several showings at the vehicle and what must have felt like a million questions, Sheldon was ever so professional and honest. Bill was also very professional and courteous and never pushy! would definitely recommend the dealership to everyone looking for a car for not only the staff but the quality of the vehicle and after sale care. Once the deal was closed, we were welcomed into the family which was pretty cool! More
