Weirdest Car Shopping Experience.... Ever. I was very interested in a used vehicle from Mainway. They ran an ad on Kijiji and I went to the lot to check it out. It was a local trade and in d I was very interested in a used vehicle from Mainway. They ran an ad on Kijiji and I went to the lot to check it out. It was a local trade and in decent shape.... however, they wouldn't let me test drive it. Oh, no... this is just a "parts vehicle", they told me. You can't drive it beyond the boundaries of the lot. I checked the VIN and there were no claims against it, never even been in an accident, and it was Sask registered, so it was platable. Basically, they expected me to pay for the vehicle, have it towed off the lot, then I could get it plated. I offered them a price that I thought was fair for not being able to drive it - but no, the price is the price, they said. Of course, they tried to sell me other used vehicle priced much higher than my budget allowed. Basically a bait and switch with a vehicle they couldn't or wouldn't sell. Nice trick and a massive waste of time. More

Poor customer service and a lack of care for my vehicle I recently took my Mazda vehicle for servicing as it was having a coolant issue. The customer service advisor said they would need the vehicle for a f I recently took my Mazda vehicle for servicing as it was having a coolant issue. The customer service advisor said they would need the vehicle for a few days to test it at low temperatures to find out the problem (and he said they were very busy). After over two days and $160 later, the problem was still not diagnosed. Many possible causes were given but I was told they would need the vehicle longer for more testing. The estimated cost of possible repairs ranged from $600 to $2000. When I said I would just live with the issue until the weather warms up, the vehicle was returned to me. When I looked under the hood there was coolant everywhere and my new hood deflector was scratched. I felt like no care was given towards the work that had been completed. I took the vehicle and went to Jubilee Ford. Even though I didn't make an appointment and it was clearly a a busy day at the service centre, they were able to diagnose the problem in 30 minutes. Parts were ordered and the repair was completed the next day. All problems were corrected and the total cost was under $500. I felt the Ford service advisor and technician were very professional and efficient. The technician even took the time to explain what work was done and showed me the old parts which clearly needed to be replaced. I felt the customer service level I received was far above what I have received from Mainway Mazda. I will continue to use Jubilee Ford Service for all my future service needs. More
I have bought 5 Mazdas from Mainway Mazda This Dealership has integrity and the best service department bar none. The Mazda's are a quality automobile that are a delight to drive. I got a brand new mazda3 2010. I was falsely informed about the warranty length. I got no service reminders as every other dealership offers. Recently, my passenger side window exploded on the highway about the warranty length. I got no service reminders as every other dealership offers. Recently, my passenger side window exploded on the highway with abousolutely no one around. It was cold outside and my heater was on full blast. Temperature difference can be the only explanation. I did a little research online and found that although rare this does happen. The mazda service rep I spoke to was quick to dismiss me with his "14 years experience" saying adamantly "no! no! no! windows don't just explode, call your insurance company". I wouldn't send my enemy to this dealership. Poor service and poor customer care will forever be associated with mazdas for me. More
I purchased a Mazda 9 after the sales person assured me that the third row could support Child Car Seats. Only less then a month later, when I went to install a car seat in the third row, I find out you ca that the third row could support Child Car Seats. Only less then a month later, when I went to install a car seat in the third row, I find out you can't. I called the sales representative to find out why. Only to have him inform me "oh I guess you can't.". About a week later when I went to meet with Scott Eddy the Sales Manager. He informed me that "They would not install hooks in the third row, as they did not want any legal responsibility, and that I was legal responsible for the cost." So be forewarned according to their management , the sales people can lie to you and your responsible. Avoid this place like the plague. More
I used this dealer for both sales and service and both times had very unfortunate experiences. The work, I will also mention, was done on a 3 year old car, which I had purchased there only 2 months earlier. The shifter broke off, so I had the car towed in and asked to be called with a price if it was not covered under my warranty (which was already a sore point because I purchased a car with 3 years warranty and only actually got 2). I was called and told it was ready, and given I was not given a price (which I asked for multiple times), I presumed it was under warranty. Unfortunately, it was not, and I was handed a $500 bill when I got there to pick it up! Very unprofessional! I will not go back there, or bring my business to Honda or Acura in Saskatoon as they are the same management team. More
