Worst dealer in Calgary!!! Chuck Dunlop is RUDE, OBNOXIOUS & LIES. He uses sweet tactics to try and blind side you into thinking you are an important customer, however, once the Chuck Dunlop is RUDE, OBNOXIOUS & LIES. He uses sweet tactics to try and blind side you into thinking you are an important customer, however, once they deal seems solid, he no longer returns calls and tells you he only has "1 minute he's busy" when you try and ask a question about your sale. CHUCK lies to you about dates and delivery. Tells you something different everytime and doesn't do what he says. When you talk to the sales manager. His lies are different than Chucks. They obviously don't communicate with each other to know which lie the other told. When asked a question or to complete a task regarding the sale. CHUCK DUNLOP stands in the show room and yells at you saying that he will give back your deposit in front of potential clients. He raises his voice. Clenched his fist "THAT'S A JOKE" and screams at you in a condescending manner, says that he doesn't need your business. All because he over heard a comment about going somewhere else because the customer service was bad. Go figure. The General manager said he got his feelings hurt and reacted...What is he 5 yrs old. That's PROFESSIONALISM WOW The service manager Kelly is no better in fact he is worse. A guy who PRETENDS to be important and doesn't manage his staff, allowing them to treat a customer like that. Epitome of a car salesman. At the end of the day. They all lied and then when you confront them they treat you badly. Not all Car salesman are like this, there are great sales Professionals at other dealerships, just not Maclin. CHUCK is the epitome of salesmanship. He's the guy we all hear about and think of when we talk about car salesman. The only thing worse is a shoe salesman. Maclin ford got a 1 star rating. Only because there is no lower rating. They deserve a negative 5 star. Terrible customer service and they do not do what they say. And continuously tell you lies. Managers do nothing to resolve problems and in my opinion are the problem. It's my experience as a double degreed engineer that staff acts accordingly to the management's direction. Meaning if staff does it. So does management. We pulled the deal from them based on failure to deliver on time. "Hmmm, which time, we were told 4 different lies, by Chuck & Kelly. What a team, right.. We are happy to say we did purchase our said vehicle with smiling faces. The new dealer was the best and did what they said they would do. We got the vehicle we wanted and a better deal also. Maclin ford I would never recommend for these reasons. If your treated like that before you sign. How will you be treated after. Chuck Dunlop may have had some successful deals. However, he probably just wasn't called on his lies or he was successful at blind siding the sale. Chuck will tell you stories about Mexico and how he was a important customer service representative for high executive types. I guess yelling at them and lying was part of his job. Haha Because of Chuck Dunlop. $62,000.00 sale, all approved walked out the door into another dealership Epitome of salesmanship. Will be doing a 5 star plus rating of our new dealership. So awesome. treated like a customer should..guess that's why they have 6 dealerships and Maclin has 1. lol More
