Line up support so customers aren’t held up waiting for a sales rep to handover keys, put on a plate etc. The current approach is crazy old school. Loads of bored looking dudes hanging around with nothing to do and no one can or will help me bc someone believes I’m happy to wait 10 mins or 30 mins for my sales guy. Nope. My time is valuable, just give me what I need, I just want to get in with it. More

The extra mile I had a maximum budget for a new SUV. Arrogant service advisor I went to Ford Maclin because there are times (3X) that my truck's doors won't close and once while backing up, the truck gave a warning signal that t I went to Ford Maclin because there are times (3X) that my truck's doors won't close and once while backing up, the truck gave a warning signal that the rear passenger door opened after my 8 year old nephew swore he was sure he closed it. True enough , I received a letter from Ford Motor Company about the safety issue recall (17S33) and instructed me if my unit is exhibiting these symptoms to immediately contact the dealer and request for a service appointment for a repair. That morning I approached the service advisor, Jean Giurguis, and told him of the recurring problems of my truck and even showed him Ford's recall letter. He went to my truck and just looked at it for just a few seconds then said nothing is wrong with my truck. I insisted that something is wrong with it because I already experienced it thrice, it's just that sometimes the doors closes and sometimes it does not. Jean Giurguis said that the doors closed so there's nothing wrong with it and have nothing to fix. It seemed Jean Giurguis wants a member of my family hurt first and his company sued before he decides to fix the problem. Or maybe he wants me to drive the truck to Banff, experience the problem of doors not closing, tie down or tape the doors and drive all the way back to Jean Giurguis just to convince him it needs to be fixed. To make the story short, Jean Giurguis didn't do anything with that particular safety issue. The following day, my wife used the truck and again a door, this time the driver's door wouldn't close. She was on a public parking place and didn't know what to do. She didn't know what she did but finally the door closed after 10 minutes. She was late for work at her clinic that day. We were not able to use our truck for a couple of days because of the problem until I decided to try another Ford dealer. This time, this second Ford dealer found there really is something wrong with the doors and told me they will try to fix the said safety issue and gave me a service unit I could use while they're fixing my truck. More

No pressure - just the facts. I responded to an ad for a vehicle that I waned to replace my older Ford Explorer. I was somewhat hesitant as my past experience was one of high pres I responded to an ad for a vehicle that I waned to replace my older Ford Explorer. I was somewhat hesitant as my past experience was one of high pressure and a feeling of being spoken down to as a woman. But it was January and I needed to replace my Explorer that had been totalled in an accident. Used Explorers are difficult to find during the month of January. I was surprised and impressed with Al Steinskey's honesty and respect for my interests. He answered all my questions and was open about the differences between my model of the Explorer and the new Explorer that I was test driving. It was obvious to me that this was not just a job for Al - it was a position that he took pride in and he cared very much for his customers' peace of mind and purchasing the best car for them and at the best price. This is sometimes a rare trait for someone who earns their wages on commission. I felt no pressure to make my purchase which was a big step financially for me. Al synced my phone for me and showed me all the workings of the various aspects of my new vehicle. He told me that if I had any questions or concerns I could call him. Something I did and he followed up on. I also was impressed with the fact that has called me twice since just to check that everything was alright with my 2013 Explorer. Something that has never happened in all the years that I have been buying cars. A dealership is only as good as their representatives and Al is a shining example of an employee that best represents his company. More
