New Truck Purchase Have purchased 3 vehicles in the past from the dealership, always an easy process and great service. This time was not the case. Brief overview: 1) D Have purchased 3 vehicles in the past from the dealership, always an easy process and great service. This time was not the case. Brief overview: 1) Dealership suggested to swap the box topper which was fine. Salesman advised on the test drive they would put a new one on. Then sales manager advised this is not the case. 2) Requested a spray in box liner for the truck. When the final details were written up no box liner. They did add at no charge. 3) Went through the paperwork, but not provided with anything to give the insurance company. Had to call back and get the details sent. 4) Deal signed on Thursday and advised truck would be ready Tuesday. As I arrive at the parking lot to pick-up the truck received a call advising the truck was not ready for pick-up. Reschedule for Saturday, due to my schedule. 5) Thursday received a phone call from the sales manager advising we needed to get the truck picked up, appearing to insinuate the issue was mine. 6) Arrive Saturday to pick-up the truck and advised they did not have anyone to swap the box topper. They provided a loaner, which was filthy on the interior and exterior. Truck would be ready Monday for pick-up as they had both trucks to now make the swap. Advised the salesman it would have to be done by 1:00 PM, due to commitments. 7) Receive a call at 2:30 on Monday the truck was ready. Arrange a time for Tuesday. 8) Arrive Tuesday at the scheduled time and salesman was not in. Wait 15 minutes for him to arrive. 9) Next day get an email indicating they provided the wrong lessor information and needed to change the information. Have the insurance company change the information and send it to the dealership. Appeared to be a complete disregard for my time and the trips required to pick up a truck which should have been very simple. All involved at the dealership were very nice, but the number of times spent going to the dealership was a complete waste of time. More
