Happy with McNeil Motors Martensville I read many of the reviews here after I began my deal with this company, and I began to get worried about what I had got myself into. Yes when you arrive they have you sit in an area and wait and do their dealings at a table while other people are around. I have worked in timeshare programs before and that is not ignorance or bad sales, the reason behind this technique is it helps those who are making a decision feel a bit more at ease. I went in after filling out paperwork on line and they knew I was most likely a deal, I still had to wait, but again I do understand the reasoning behind this process and although I don't always appreciate having to wait, I was okay with it for what I was doing. I did end up having to come back as there was a hiccup with something on my end. They let me take the car I was dealing on and we found an issue with it that they fixed immediately. They were fast and friendly and professional. I dealt with a couple people but a HUGE shout out to Alex who took the time to ensure I had the deal I was looking for. They went so far as to drive the payout to my Alberta bank to make sure it arrived in good time. I was promised a $500 fuel card with the purchase and they stood behind that deal allowing me to go to my sisters this Christmas. I would recommend this company to anyone and would not hesitate to use them again in the future. More

Rip off company that just sees you coming and Robs you Worst company ever . Sales man xxxxs up on your paper work and you make a special trip to there location to redo the papers . Co-signer turned Owner MacNeil motors is actually on my mind, I've been contemplating on a good way to get back at them and social media is a great way, anyone who can share MacNeil motors is actually on my mind, I've been contemplating on a good way to get back at them and social media is a great way, anyone who can share this please do, first of all I would like to explain the move they pulled, this move is called "the straw" it's a common and crooked practice throughout low income dealerships pretending to always approve you no matter what your credit, it's xxxxxxxx. A good friend of mine came to me and asked if I could co sign, without a doubt I would, what are friends for right? He was apparently approved, these guys signed him the papers and he was set up with a vehicle, red flag 1- they sold a $13,000 car for $35,000(dealership mark up is usually only around $5000), red flag 2- he signed the papers alone and they came to me so I could sign the rest of them(I had trusted the dealership for professionalism), red flag 3- when I had a question to ask they wouldn't answer my calls, this is what got me thinking, so naturally I looked into it, these xxxxxxxx made 2 separate bills of sale, one stating that I was the consigner the other saying I was the legal owner of this vehicle, they put in the paperwork that we were legally married so the money could be withdrawn from his account without question ( just so happens I'm not gay and neither is my friend), they won't answer either of my or his calls about warranty or to even ask what's going on, they also told him that in 6-8 months he would get to choose the car he wanted cause his credit would be building, well they lied again, the bank would tell both me and my friend to get real, it's not possible, in the end after the ridiculously high interest he would be paying around $50,000 for this $13,000 car, they had taken advantage of my friends lack of knowledge on the subject and made me look like a complete idiot for not looking into it, so basically he's paying for my car that he didn't want that's not building his credit cause it's mine legally speaking, I hope if you read this that you are now more aware that not all car dealerships are a safe option, MacNeil motors in martensville sk indeed lies, steals, cheats, and so obviously commits fraud, these people a villainous, it does matter if you're low income or not they will have no problem running a scam on you More

I can't believe how bad their customer service is! Shocked! After being made to wait 2.5 hours in +30 with our 1&3 year old we demanded our deposit back (we had already negotiated a price on a Grand Caravan). We spoke to our sales man, Keifa, and he assured us that our paper work was just being finished up, I told him that was great! "Go check on our paper work, if it's ready bring it back for us to sign, if not- bring our deposit back!" Instead he brought his manager, Dallas, back. We agreed, that they would bring the van and the paperwork to our house on Monday night. I thought this was pretty impressive. Sure they left us hanging for hours, but not they were coming to us! Sweet! Fast forward to Monday, rush home, feed kids, put to bed early, tidy up, wait... and wait. No one shows up. No one calls. I send an angry email, fast forward to Tuesday night, no response! I call, I speak to Zak. He locates my paperwork quickly and explains that they didn't like the interest rate they were quoted and were "calling in a favour". He says the finance guy, Aiden, will call me at 4:45 the next day with all the info. Guess what? No phone call. Seriously! We were trying to give them a large sum of money, and there was ZERO follow thru. Now it's Thursday, I want my deposit back. I call asking for a manager, Shannon listens to my story of terrible service and puts me on hold, Mitch, a different manager I guess, gets on the phone. He throws his salesman under the bus and says he's been fired (real professional!), and I tell him that Keifa was the last person from their company that I trusted and the best part of our car buying experience. Mitch acknowledges our frustration and assures me he wants to keep our business, he promises that everything will be tied up with a pretty bow if we just show up on Saturday (gassed up, detailed, ready to go). Alright. Saturday. A WEEK after we started this ridiculous process! Anyway- we show up. Wait to talk to Mitch. He takes our name. He walks away. Comes back and asks what our budget is and asks for our licenses.... I ask what for, we've done all of this! (Again, a WEEK ago) he admits they can't find our paperwork!! How can Zak find it when Mitch can't?! Mitch goes off again, comes back, and tells me "they didn't like the interest rate they had for us so they are asking for a favour" the same thing we were told on Tuesday. We are aghast. Who are these people? How do they even keep a business afloat?! End of the story? We got our deposit back and we'll buy a van from someone who wants our business. Just for interest sake- there were 4 other groups of people their at the same time as us, one couple walked out as their promises also weren't coming to fruition, and another family had been dealing with the same situation for 2 weeks! More
