Go to London Airport instead. London Kia is totally unresponsive. Business must be good as literally I could not order a car. Here’s the details. If the dealer operator is reading London Kia is totally unresponsive. Business must be good as literally I could not order a car. Here’s the details. If the dealer operator is reading this, better sales training is needed - I literally could not place my order. I went in early Sept 23 and placed a simple order for a Carnival LX. Cash deal, no financing, $500 deposit. I was told by the rep that I can change my mind on trim but he recommended put the order in because of supply delays. 10 days later I changed my mind that I wanted an EX trim level. I call back, my rep is on vacation. I try again 2 weeks later, on vacation still? Turns out he left the company, not sure the circumstances, and reception wasn’t aware. So now that I am not sure who to work with, I am transferred to a new rep. Let’s call him “B”. A told me he’s too busy to help and I should call back later. I literally laughed and said okay, when is a better time. He told me he’d call back at 4pm but of course, no call. Then I was connected with “A”, sales manager apparently. He told me he can help with the cancel of my LX+ and reorder if the EX. That he’d send me the pricing next day and I can stop in the following Saturday to sign real quick. In and out. Wednesday and Thursday went by and no call or email. Friday I called again so we could figure out the details for Saturday signing. “A” is on vacation, so I’m transferred to “H”. Gave him the history and that I was super frustrated because of the delay (5 weeks at this point). He said he will review with manager “A” first thing Saturday and both will ensure I get a call back. Of course nothing so at 4pm before close Saturday I text “H” who is shocked “A” didn’t call and said that he will Monday. Monday I called twice, left messages with reception, still no call back. Tuesday (today) 2 more calls, finally got a call back from “A”. No apology, no acknowledgement, just “nobody gave me this message” despite us talked 7 days earlier with action items. He was sure to add how busy they are. So as a sales professional myself, crazy that they must be so busy that they literally don’t need new orders. I called London Airport Kia and Frank to me pricing same day. Taking my business there, not worth even exploring London Kia on wharncliffe as they are so busy they don’t need any more business, apparently. More
TERRIBLE customer service, among many other questionable issues at this dealership. I feel compelled to write this review in hopes it saves others the headache and so they can take their business elsewhere issues at this dealership. I feel compelled to write this review in hopes it saves others the headache and so they can take their business elsewhere from the get go. Before I begin - I am well aware that there is a significant interruption in car deliveries at this time. Knowing this, I called around to several Kia dealerships in the Southwest to see if they could help me. I recently switched jobs, my previous job was providing me a company car which I no longer had access to. I needed a vehicle as soon as possible and was looking to purchase a new Kia Forte LX within the next two weeks from the time of my phone call. Each dealer that I called told me the same thing - you need to put down a deposit to be considered for the car, but I cannot guarantee what is coming in, and if you want to order it, it will take 6 months to arrive. I called London Kia and explained my situation. I was connected to Angelo on August 12. I made him aware that I was in need of this vehicle as soon as possible and within the next two weeks, otherwise I was without a car. He told me "we get those shipments in every week and the LX model comes in those shipments. You need to put down a deposit to secure your spot, but we will definitely have it in the next two weeks because we get those cars all the time." He charged a deposit of $1000 (which I found odd off the bat because other dealers only said they needed $500) and then began the process. One week goes by - the car doesn't show up. I go to the dealer to see if the car came and he says no, the longest you'd have to wait would be 2 months maximum (???) but I'm getting another shipment next week. Next week comes, I don't hear from him. Then, the following week I get a phone call - "I have two Forte LX's coming in, there's a customer who's interested in the white, if he passes it up then it's yours, otherwise you'd get the grey one." I took this to mean that the car was coming in. I asked "Is it there now?" He says "By the end of the week for sure." The end of the week comes, and there's no car. The following Monday I reached out AGAIN asking where this car is. The response I got was "Hi _______ i just get a 2023 forte GT Line with 18000 km and the price is $28995 and you get a one more tear warranty 6 /120000 its pre-owned this vehicle new is $31500 plus taxes". which is NOT what I was looking for, because the car wasn't there. CLEARLY, he DID NOT KNOW what was coming in each week, and was giving me the run around from the time I put down the deposit. He assured me I was "next on the list", yet now, we are already passed the timeline for when I needed this car. I called the dealership and asked to speak to a manager (Sam) and was told that she needed to take a message because he was busy, and that I'd hear from him the next day. I made it very clear I didn't want to deal with Angelo anymore and wanted to speak to a manager directly. Never got a call from the manager. Instead, I get a call from Angelo saying the manager called him letting him know that I called the dealership. Now, his angle is "unfortunately we are at the mercy of Kia and we don't know what's coming in." Then WHY take a deposit when you know I am on a timeline and I NEED the vehicle in 2 weeks????? Absolutely unbelievable and an incredible waste of time. He only refunded my deposit after I had to call and complain - never once offered a refund on the deposit prior to that when he knew full well he didn't have the car I was looking for putting me in a major bind. If the manager couldn't care enough to call me back to rectify this situation professionally, I am hoping a public review will help people make a more informed decision as to where to spend their money on a vehicle. I went in over a year ago and talked to a very nice sales associate regarding getting a new car (the politeness of the employees is the only reason I am giving them one star. I would give zero if I could). I let the sales associate know right away that I had a lease that would be ending in September 2023 so I need a car before then. The sales associate assured me that over a year would be more than enough time to get my vehicle. I was told it should be no problem at all. Throughout the whole year, I didn't hear anything from ANYONE at Kia. Early this year I tried to get in contact with the sales associate because I had not heard anything. I called and left a message because the salesperson was busy, no response. I called again and left another message a couple of weeks later, but once again no response from anyone. At this point, I was extremely frustrated seeing that car sales is SOLELY BASED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called one last time and asked to speak to a manager, only then did I get a call back from my sales associate (not a manager). He told me they have ZERO updates, ZERO ETA. I reiterated that my lease was coming to an end later that year. Nothing was said to make me think that my car was not going to be in on time (I specifically let him know my least was up September 5th). Late July I reached out to my sales associate again to see if there was any update (seeing that I still had not heard ANYTHING). The sales associate then told me my car wouldn't be in on time and he had no ETA and nothing he could to do help me. Please keep in mind, they did not reach out to me to let me know the car they said I would have in a month wouldn't be in. I had to reach out to find out this information. They didn't seem to have any plans on letting me know and in all honesty REALLY SCREWED ME OVER. At this point, I was told an order was NEVER PUT IN FOR THE VEHICLE I ASKED FOR. Only a month before I am supposed to get my new car do they let me know that they only "allot cars" to customers. NEVER in my initial meeting with the sales associate was this stated or mentioned. My partner and I were completely blindsided by this information. At this point I reached out to a the new car sales manager who basically told me there is nothing they can do. They didnt offer me any solutions or other options. I do understand that the car market is in a difficult place right now but over a year in advance with no contact or support throughout the whole process is UNACCEPTABLE. The sales associate then offered me a car that was way over the original price I agreed to with ZERO discount. They then told me (after offering me this car) that they already offered it to someone else so they don't even know if I can actually have that one. WHAT A JOKE OF A BUSINESS. 10/10 Would not recommend it as they didn't try to help me at all. More
In October 2015, we purchased a new 2015 Kia Optima from London KIA on Wharncliffe Rd. While I love my car, I would NOT recommend this dealership. At the time, I travelled about 120 km on the 401 daily, so, on the advice of the sales person I purchased the paint protection plan (for stone chips) along with the undercoating (rust proofing) for a cost of $1398 plus tax. About one year in, as expected, there were many stone chips on the hood and I took the car in to be examined and to get the hood repaired, only to find out that the sales person was “mistaken” and stone chips were not included in the paint protection package. Their solution at the time was for me to buy a paint pen and touch up the stone chips myself. A few years later, once the hood started rusting, I was able to get the hood fixed using the paint protection plan warranty. Fast forward to 2023 (car is now 8 years old and has been examined yearly by London KIA for under body rust), my brake lines had to be repaired because they rusted through and all my brake fluid leaked out. The mechanic where I took the car for repair told me that the car appears to never have been undercoated. I then took the car in for an examination at London KIA and they confirmed that the car had not been undercoated, even though I paid for the paint protection and undercoating package when I purchased the car. I approached London KIA for compensation regarding this “oversight” and was denied any monetary compensation. Part of their reasoning was that I had put in a claim for rust repairs to the warranty company for $1143, so I had already obtained good value for the money. However, they would re-apply the undercoating now if so desired. Well, I think that is awful customer service. First, why was the car not undercoated prior to delivery as promised? Second, why during the annual inspection did no one at London KIA notice that it hadn’t been undercoated? Three, really? No apology, just attitude and that is your solution and compensation? Put the undercoating on now? No thanks, I’ll go elsewhere, and I advise you to go elsewhere too. More
This has been my go-to dealership for almost 20 years now. But, lately, I'm pretty disappointed. The service costs seem to be a lot higher than they used to be, and by more than just the inflation issues now. But, lately, I'm pretty disappointed. The service costs seem to be a lot higher than they used to be, and by more than just the inflation issues that everyone is having. My last oil change with everything included was $1,000. What originally attracted me to Kia was their great warranty and financing options. Now the warranties are add-ons, and the financing is nothing special. Bought a new car last September, and was told it would take 4 months to come in. Ten months later, and it's not in. And I reach out and ask, and basically get told "it won't take much longer" but they've been saying that for 5 months now. The lack of communication and follow-up, and the seemingly false promises is pretty disheartening. The service people are super nice, but I'm overall pretty disappointed. Even just some follow-ups to let me know they're still working to get my new car for me would be great. But I hear nothing, and frankly, a lack of good customer service is enough to a kill a deal for me now. More

I will find a local non branded garage to maintain my car. Always get overcharged when car in for service. They charge $130.00 just for looking at the car. I would understand this if you then would decide not to have the repair done, but no they just charge this anyway. Multiple examples. Bought 4 new wheels and they charged me for tire change and charged also for the new tires with rims. After discussing this they gave me $75.00 credit for a next service. Today just after I had my oil changed a month ago I asked them to look at oily leak that started after my car was in the garage (that can happen) there was a leaking connector at the radiator. The part was $39.00 before tax. They charged me $409.60 (after taking off the 75.00 credit I had from the last debacle. I almost spend over $6000.00 on repair this year for tiny thing. They calculate with a fork in stead of a pen. Although I have prepaid my oil changes for the life of the car, I will never go back there again. Don't buy your car here! More
