I bought a truck from Lindsay Kia Sept 26 2022. At which time I was talked into a great warranty that would be 120,000 km's on top of the 97,443 km's already on the truck. Taxes in, the truck cost me $69,209.00 1 year and 4 months later the engine blew up, pistons on the road and lit on fire. I called Lindsay Kia and explained the situation. The salesman Mack told me as I was at 122,000 km's now I had no coverage and to claim insurance and buy another truck off him. Not happy with this answer I went to another sales man at the same Dealership who told me they would come to my house, which is 2 mins drive away, and assess the truck for trade in as I was losing work not being able to drive there. 3 days passed after the date he was to show up so I called them back only to be told he was too busy making sales and he would try and see me Saturday instead of the previous Monday. Monday came and no one shows up or calls. A lady from the service Department tried to get me my warranty money back but they told me I needed to have the warranty and not use it for 4 years past the date of purchase to get a portion of the money back. So now I need to come up with $10,000 for a replacement engine and have a $70,000 lawn ornament that I am making by-weekly payments on still so I can keep a decent credit rating , put and engine in my truck and trade it to a real dealership that cares before something else breaks on it. I do not recommend anyone dealing with Lindsay Kia or 401 Auto through Lindsay Kia as you (the customer) are not in there best interests. More

Total s***t -show! Run, don’t walk away. They don’t do all-in pricing and will add 3 to 4 grand to your invoice for even a base model vehicle. $700 admin fee for doing Run, don’t walk away. They don’t do all-in pricing and will add 3 to 4 grand to your invoice for even a base model vehicle. $700 admin fee for doing nothing, $115 for wheel nuts,$1100 for a useless care package, $531 for a useless windshield theft sticker, then they try to add $1500 for a set of winter tires that you can buy local for $875. Try to decline the crap and they will refuse. They never called me back with a trade in price but i can only imagine the lowball on that as well. More

I have a Kia Optima and the motor ceased about a year ago. I had a very difficult time trying to get Kia to cover this as most people know this is an issue.
