Warranty Repair Caused Long-Term Damage — Caution I brought my Lexus NX 300 F Sport to Lexus of Calgary for a warranty replacement of the gauge cluster shield due to condensation. What should have been brought my Lexus NX 300 F Sport to Lexus of Calgary for a warranty replacement of the gauge cluster shield due to condensation. What should have been a simple, straightforward repair turned into a mess that I am still dealing with two years later. When I picked up the car, I found broken plastic trim pieces on the passenger-side floor mat. The dealership never mentioned any damage — I had to discover it myself. After I brought it up, I brought the car back for them to inspect — only then did they admit they had broken the part and said it had been replaced. Shortly after, I noticed scratches and damage to the actual gauge cluster display itself — not just the plastic shield, but the important internal display showing speed, RPMs, and critical information. After back-and-forth emails and sending photos, they asked me to bring it back so they could “polish” it. When I got it back, the damage was still there — now with a greasy fingerprint-like smear across the cluster display. At that point, they started giving me the runaround, brushing the issue aside instead of taking responsibility. I had to open a formal case with Lexus Canada. Only after providing the case number directly to Al Ratani (Service Manager) and Steve Normore (General Manager) did they finally begin communicating seriously. Even then, instead of acknowledging responsibility and replacing the damaged gauge cluster immediately, I was offered a windshield replacement — a completely unrelated item — as an attempt to buy me off without fixing the real damage they had caused to my vehicle. Eventually, after more pressure, they agreed to replace the gauge cluster. But after that service, I noticed new marks on the dash trim above the cluster, which they again dismissed. Now, two years later, I have discovered even more hidden damage clearly tied to that same repair: • A cracked trim piece above the gauge cluster • A snapped peg in the steering wheel trim housing, which now doesn’t lock into place properly — it feels loose when lightly pulled • Loss of SiriusXM satellite radio functionality: After the gauge cluster replacement, my satellite radio stopped working entirely. I attempted resets, reactivations, and contacted SiriusXM directly, confirming it was not a subscription issue. The signal loss points to improper reconnection or damage to antenna wiring during the dealership’s disassembly of my dashboard. To be fair, I never had any issues with Lexus of Calgary’s parts department or sales team. My negative experience relates strictly to the service department and how they handled my vehicle. Let me be very clear: I never asked for anything more than to have my car returned in the condition I brought it in. Instead, fixing one problem created multiple new issues — both cosmetic and functional — and I had to escalate to Lexus Canada just to get basic acknowledgment. Based on my experience, I find it difficult to believe the overall rating reflects the true level of service quality at this dealership. I strongly encourage anyone considering service here to look beyond the surface ratings and read actual customer experiences carefully. I have since moved to a different Lexus dealership and will never return to Lexus of Calgary for service. If you are considering service here, be warned: even a simple repair can turn into a long-term headache — and you may be left dealing with the consequences long after they send you home. More

Sleezy sales people! !! Beware young and vulnerable they will treat you with little respect. My son was trying to buy his first used car here and had two totally differen !! Beware young and vulnerable they will treat you with little respect. My son was trying to buy his first used car here and had two totally different experiences when I was with him verses when he was alone. I have worked in insurance and dealt with many dealerships so I asked questions and was told of discounted prices and aide they were going to offer but as soon as I wasn’t there they refused any of the things that were offered and refused to even do repairs that were obviously going to lead to problems down the road. They used sleezy high pressure sales techniques isolating him from his friend when he wanted to have the vehicle looked at on a hoist. Financing treated him like he was a worthless and couldn’t even bother to reach out to him to discuss his options. More

Unprofessional/Dishonest Purchased vehicle on line, offer placed and accepted via email (legally binding in Alberta). Informed dealership I would be at dealership around 2, it’s a 3 to 4 hour drive. Ab offer placed and accepted via email (legally binding in Alberta). Informed dealership I would be at dealership around 2, it’s a 3 to 4 hour drive. About 45 mins from dealership receive phone call advising me the car had been sold. Continue to the dealership ask for clarification and I’m essentially told I’m SOL because a deposit, that was never discussed or asked for had not been placed. My research does not indicate the requirement for a deposit, I’m looking into this further, regardless of the legality of their actions I cannot believe a high end dealership such as Lexus, would act like this. In defence of my salesman Jake, who was not at work on the day of pickup, he had referred me to a member of his sales team, who I can only assume essentially stole his sale.(requires management approval) Worst car dealership experience I have ever experienced in my life. Was meant to be my teenage sons first car he was with me at the dealership, all they could say to him was sorry. I’ve already placed a complaint with service Alberta, and tried unsuccessfully to place one online with Lexus Canada, will be contacting them directly tomorrow. More

Worst experience / cheating customers: Lexus of Calgary cheating customers by advertising lower price cars on their website and selling for higher. Recently found a car (in stock) on the website and made cheating customers by advertising lower price cars on their website and selling for higher. Recently found a car (in stock) on the website and made a visit to Lexus of Calgary dealership to see and buy it. Next morning I phoned the sales rep (Claudia) and she told me that the car I want to buy is $62,911 and not $58,649 as shown on their website. After trying to speak with the manager (Brad) I was told he is busy and not available to speak to me. I asked he can call me but never received a call from anyone in this dealership. Sure the price is not gonna be the only problem if you buy a car from these guys. Now I get why so many Calgarians prefer to drive all the way to Edmonton to order their cars. Also will send a complaint letter to Lexus Canada. More
