Incompetent Our car had intermittent, but terrible bearing noise. After being told that it would be covered under warranty, we brought it in the Lethbridge Mitsub Our car had intermittent, but terrible bearing noise. After being told that it would be covered under warranty, we brought it in the Lethbridge Mitsubishi for repair. After a few hours we call, and they tell us "oh, it was done a while ago." Thanks. When we get in, they tell us they didn't replace the bearing, and wanted $77.50. "What for?" "Diagnostics". She showed me a note where the tech had written there was bearing noise, but not bad enough to be repaired. When I tried talking to Tamara, the service manager, she said there is nothing wrong with the bearing and the charge was to diagnose the tires (because those obviously make grinding noises). I told her we weren't paying her to tell us what we told them when we brought it in, ESPECIALLY since it's a warranty item. She then told us too bad, you're not getting your keys. Only after getting the sales manager involved did they offer to do anything, but would require it being brought in at a later day, and recreating the intermittent noises. Thanks for nothing. 6 month xxxx at Lethbridge Mitsubishi We bought a truck from this dealership at the beginning of summer. Well lets just say it was a complete lemon, that should not have even passed a safe We bought a truck from this dealership at the beginning of summer. Well lets just say it was a complete lemon, that should not have even passed a safety inspection. The entire electrical system went on it, and the tires had the wires sticking out, that's how worn they were. This all within a month of owning the truck. So we took it back and asked for our money back, they refused to, and instead gave us no option except to trade it off for another vehicle that was in "perfect condition". When it arrived from Red Deer, the box was completely dented, and it was filthy on the inside. They assured us that they would fix everything so it would be in perfect running condition. A week after we received it, we had issues with one of the tires, so back to the shop it went, where it stayed for well over 2 months, due to their negligence and breaking other things while trying to fix the problem. In the meantime we had told them about an issue with the gas tank, and how it took us over 20 minutes to put $40 worth of fuel in. They again assured us that everything would be fixed. Here we are 6 months later and our truck has been in their shop yet again for the past 6 weeks, over the gas tank issue that was supposed to be fixed 6 months ago. We were told the extended warranty that we purchased would cover the $600 issue and whatever warranty wouldn't cover, the dealership would cover the rest. Now keep in mind, this decision was finally decided after we had to discuss this issue with 2 salesman, 3 sales managers and the "new" GM of the dealership, who conveniently is now playing stupid to the whole ordeal. We finally get the phone call to let us know that the truck is ready to be picked up. We show up there to pick the truck up, hand them the keys to their loaner car, and they lay a $1300 bill in front of us for the truck. They proceeded to tell us that the warranty would not cover it and they were not eating any of the cost. In order for us to get our truck back we had to pay this bill. I would like to point out that originally the cost was $600, and I also did my homework and went to an actual Ford dealership before hand, who also quoted us $600 for the fix. So there is now an extra $700 that we have to pay. All they kept saying was warranty won't cover it. Upon reading the bill, there was extra work done to the truck, that neither my husband nor I authorized for them to even do. Again, all they kept saying was warranty won't cover this. They would not allow us the option to take the truck now and make payments, or keep their loaner car and make payments. To add insult to injury when we re-explained to them that we will live a half hour outside of the city, they shrugged their shoulders and said "phone someone to come and pick you up." So, now 12 days before Christmas, we have to find a way to come up with money for a bill that was never supposed to be charged to us. Or try and find away for both my husband and I to get to work as well as get our 2 daughters to and from school functions and extra curricular activities with one vehicle until we can get the money to pay the bill. I highly recommend to stay far away from this dealership.. they are a bunch of crooks. More
