I found a 2023 F150 for sale at Leduc Hyundai on Facebook Marketplace. The ad included the statement “Proudly offered by Leduc Hyundai, this vehicle has been carefully inspected, well maintained, and is read Marketplace. The ad included the statement “Proudly offered by Leduc Hyundai, this vehicle has been carefully inspected, well maintained, and is ready for immediate ownership.” After negotiating and receiving an inspection checklist which showed that there were no issues with the vehicle, I made an offer of $32,000 (all in) pending 3rd party inspection at Team Ford. The offer was accepted by Kalvin Prasad and I paid a $500 deposit. On Tuesday, March 24, 2026 the vehicle was inspected at Team Ford. Before they could inspect it though, they had to remove approximately 100 kilograms of caked on mud from the under carriage. The inspection showed that numerous items would need to be repaired. I sent a copy of the inspection report to Leduc Hyundai and requested that 3 of the 9 items be repaired. These items were : - Replacement of rear pinion seal - Replacement of both upper ball joints - Replacement of damaged active air dam blade I received a phone call from Mike Chanak on the evening of Wednesday March 25, 2026. He stated that : - Team Ford was exaggerating the problems with the truck to boost service sales - The rear pinion seal is not leaking and does not need to be replace even though there is visual evidence of oil on the rear axle - The ball joints have a little movement but this is well within the Ford tolerances and is completely safe - The broken active air dam blade would need to be replaced I stated that I trust the Team Ford inspection and want all 3 items repaired. I looked up the ball joint tolerance issue and no visible movement is acceptable. After not hearing anything else for a day, Kalvin informed me that that the deal is off since their technician states that none of the work needs to be done. And now we now why used car sales people get that bad reputation! I even have pictures that show the caked on mud and the obviously leaking seal. More
So before I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, I confirmed with them if that was OK if I brought in my own oil, oil filter and air filter. I was told that that was fine. So when I brought the car in, I told the service advisor that the oil and everything was in the back of the car. When my car was ready, and I was ready to pay the bill, I looked and they had put their own oil and filter in. I asked why my oil wasn’t used and gave some excuse about not having some kind of code. So instead of coming to see me in the waiting area they just went ahead and did what they wanted to do. The service advisor says oh I’ll get the manager to call you the next day and we’ll make it right. The service manager did not call me. I had to call and you can tell on the other end he didn’t really give two craps. Also, my air cleaner wasn’t even changed out, and it was filthy. So it makes you wonder if they can’t even do a simple thing like check an air filter, doing an oil change what kind of service are you really getting for something more serious?.They also really push upselling you to do a whole bunch of other services. Will definitely not be going back. More
Expect to be charged much more for your regular maintenance service and absolutely no customer service from the service department team. I declined but then they didn't even bother doing their complimentary car wash and resetting the service notification. When I drove back and asked them to reset, I spoke with the Service Manager, Taylor, and she said I was attacking them and asked if I was having a bad day instead of simply apologizing. I asked how she would like it she had to drive back to get the service notification taken off AFTER I told them before I drove off and she said it was a simple fix and I was being rude. She probably needs training in the customer service area. I remember they were so great the first 3 times I brought my vehicle in but not sure what happened. I will defintely not be coming here again. Don't need to be treated so rudely when I'm paying them. More
This Dealership is the worst! They delivered a vehicle with absolutely no oil in it. Over 700km with no oil. However they did offer to cover the cost on the oil change, I took my vehicle to a shop 3 days after receiving it via delivery. They found multiple items wrong with the unit, rear toe links needed to be replaced as it was causing the tires to be worn unevenly, The air filter oil lid needed screws replaced, and a cabin air filter, wipers. Totalling close to $900.00. They informed me and I quote “ Taylor Thomson: Please contact your sales team to discuss this matter further. No one here approved repairs, you decided on your own without getting approval for your sales team to pay for these repairs. This is the service department, not the sales department. All repairs are approved through the sales department as we did not sell the vehicle. and I only approved for oil change as a gesture to you “ Proper gesture would have been to properly make sure vehicles are thoroughly inspected and serviced prior to leaving their lot. They hide issues, no full disclosures, said all is checked while it was opposite. I thought that Canadian businesses are generally more honest than others but that dream was shattered after a purchase from this dealership. Not recommended . If you have no other options in buying a used car then take the vehicle to an independent inspection station and got it checked inside out. Don't trust a word they utter. Consider your self behind enemy lines and no one can be trusted, :) More

I was unfortunately referred to get my car serviced there but save yourself the trouble; i highly do NOT recommend. More
