Way to much attitude. I'm going to assume he was just having an off day, but we spent some time with Terry. Took a couple of cars out for test drives. Initially he just had an old school used car salesman type demeanor (ie. I don't really care how long you've been doing this) but when we told him we weren't prepared to make a purchase that day he started giving us major attitude. Didn't really care to do up quotes or to answer our questions. Told us he "wasn't allowed" to let us take a car out on our own (not the first time I've heard this, but the first time it was made to feel like an offensive request), but then mysteriously he decided we could. I actually liked the car I took out and thought about returning for it but would've most definitely asked for a different sales person if I were going to. I will say, their prices for used VWs are generally really good, although Terry tells us that they aren't willing to negotiate at all and that if we don't buy them someone else will as "they go through them unimaginably fast". Oh and I forgot... he just fielded a call about them as well. As a short aside, the receptionist was really nice and we had some fun joking around with her. She even offered us some gum out of her own stock. More

Great dealership Every time I have gone in to have my oil changed or even just to ask a question the people here have gone out of there way to help. Whether I was just looking at a newer model or had a question it has been a pleasant experience. As for owning 5 VW's have only had a few minor issues all which could be easily fixed. Great cars and Great people. More

Courteous and efficient I have always had excellent service in a timely manner. The service staff are excellent. I have been a VW owner for 35 years and with Leavens for I have always had excellent service in a timely manner. The service staff are excellent. I have been a VW owner for 35 years and with Leavens for about 20 of those years. I am a committed VW driver and Leavens has given me no reason to either switch dealers or switch brands. More
LOYALTY is a two way street I have been a VW owner for 18+ years and bought every VW from Leavens. This dealership is family owned and they certainly know the meaning of LOYALTY! As a customer that is what it takes to ensure your needs are met - if you are loyal to them Leavens will return the favour. . They do all my service on my 2006 TDI Jetta & my 2012 Touareg. They have been fantastic, I write this review from the heart. Keeping your vehicles in good shape is the owners responsibility & Leavens has always been there for me as a result. More
Won't stand behind their word If you are thinking of using this dealership, I would strongly suggest against it. I have never run into such bad customer service anywhere, even with companies whom have been notorious for having horrible customer service incidents. After having a repetitive intermittent issue finally seen by one of their service techs, I was told they would finally replace the radio/bluetooth car connect under warranty (something which I was told the last time I brought it in, if I can have them inspect it while the problem was happening, they could then replace the unit, and get me on my way). Well the radio finally arrived, and the day came to get it fixed. I brought my car in for the scheduled appointment at 9, for something I was told should only take and about an hour and a half, maybe 2 hours at the most. That’s fine, I scheduled my day for everything later in the afternoon to accommodate this. Come noon, I decide to call in as I have not heard anything back from their service team on the status of the repair. I get some answer along the lines of “we ran into some problems; we are going to be a little delayed.” That’s fine, I still have another two hours or so before I really need my vehicle back, which should have allowed for plenty of time to get the radio replaced. 3pm comes and goes, still no calls so I decide to call back and see if there’s any news. Same thing, “we have run into problems, and we are going to need a little more time, but we are almost done.” Ok, so now I scramble to move everything I had booked for this afternoon to accommodate that my vehicle would be taking longer. 5PM comes and goes, still no updates and they close in less than an hour. So I decide to get a ride over to find out in person what has been going on, and taking so long before they close for the night and I wouldn’t be able to get my vehicle back until tomorrow. I arrive on site, to which they inform me that they have not done anything to my vehicle, and it has been sitting all day long, because the radio happened to be working when I brought it in (the same radio that I had them inspect and confirm had a problem not even a week ago), and now get told because they didn’t see the issue today, they won’t replace it because “it is a $1500 part after all.” What’s more frustrating is that this hasn’t been once or twice that I have brought my Jetta to them with this problem. I have brought this to their attention and had it looked at at least 6 times over the last year and a half, among the other issues that have happened with this car. I also asked why they couldn’t have informed me earlier as to what their new intentions were, so I could have picked my car up in time to do my work in the afternoon, the representative did not have a response, and just shrugged their shoulders. I couldn’t believe this, that after months of having this issue, and finally having a service rep see it happening, and agree to replace the unit, they decide to deny the replacement the day they are supposed to fix it. I’d like to say this is the only issue I’ve had with them. But according to their "experts", breaks are also supposed to squeal, pulsate, and it’s acceptable every now and then for the brakes to completely loose pressure. These are all "operating normally". All I can say after this, is I will never own another Volkswagen product. It positively has been the worst vehicle owning experience I have ever had, and has really ruined my opinion of the Volkswagen product name. More

Talked to the manager and nothing will be done. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. More
Inconsistent Service I would be wary of this review and all others on the internet. I mean, my experience was not very good at Leavens, nor has it been very good at Dalma I would be wary of this review and all others on the internet. I mean, my experience was not very good at Leavens, nor has it been very good at Dalmar. In fact, in my experience here in London, it is hard to find consistent quality service at most places, not just car dealerships. I guess it comes down to luck. Across the border in the US, I find service quality to be much better overall. It's as if employees in Canada simply do not care... More
