Justin was very knowledgable and was very helpful in arranging a test drive on my terms. The price agreed to was more than fair and the purchase experience was straight forward and positive. I tried to buy a new car from them, it was the 3rd VW dealer that week. The visit was unsuccessful, "the computers don't work". The next day I called, "the computers will be working in 1 hour". Two hours dealer that week. The visit was unsuccessful, "the computers don't work". The next day I called, "the computers will be working in 1 hour". Two hours later I went there, no luck, we had to chitchat for another 30 minutes till the computers came to life. Roger did not knew much about cars, but he was very pushy about charging me $65 for nitrogen filled tires ($2.99/wheel at Canadian Tire). Trying to negotiate the price, saying that VW Downtown Toronto already offered me a $500 discount, I got the "I don't know about Toronto, maybe they have different freedom, here the price is fixed". As one can imagine I bought the car from Toronto. Three weeks later may brand new car had a loose wiper blade in a very rainy day. Since this dealer was the closest, I asked for their help. They did not have the model in stock. Despite the fact that there were about 15-20 new cars around the building from which they could borrow a wiper blade, they chosed to fix it with... ELECTRIC TAPE !!! Until I get to Toronto where other can fix it. (The free road assistance offered to tow my car to change the wiper blade). 30 minutes later I noticed an abnormal "bang", the faulty wiper was hiting the right corner of the windshield, so I returned. Without even seeing the car, the girl from the reception explained that this is because the wiper is loose and it is now offset. I explained that it is not the case, and I know what I am saying, that I am very good at fixing cars. After she repeated the same story four times I left. And now the funny part. Roger, the car dealer saw me and came to me as if I owed him money, "Hey, what happened, why didn't you come to buy the car". I explained that other dealer gave me a better deal. "I would have given you an even better deal", he said. "You said your price is fixed", I reminded him, "and you cannot give any discount". And now listen to this: "It is true, I cannot give any discount, but my manager can. Besides, I did not understand you want to negociate the price" And the last visit to them was like this: "Hi, I need an oil filter wrench". "I cannot find it in the computer since I do not know the part number" "OK, I said, I know it, it's 3417" He finds it, tells me the price, and adds: "You have to leave your name and phone number and we will call you tomorrow, the manager is not here and I don't have the password to sell parts today" I couldn't resist and asked, "What if you have to repair a car today and need parts?"
