Unfortunately I was charged hundreds of dollars from other kia dealer for a problem which they couldn't fix...only to be told i needed a brand new transmission.... I have no trust in this dealership. I bought a used vehicle in 2023, and within a few months, it broke down in the middle of the road. The engine light came on, and the car would not go I bought a used vehicle in 2023, and within a few months, it broke down in the middle of the road. The engine light came on, and the car would not go above 100 km. I immediately knew this vehicle was affected by the Knock Sensor Detection System (KSDS) recall after doing some research. I took the car back to the dealership, and they reset the engine light by saying they had updated the software and according to KIA the engine supposed to be under extended warranty to 10 years or 200,000 KM. Even with this class action lawsuit, this dealership is not bothered by it. However, from that point on, the engine started burning oil much faster and making noise after a few long runs without any warning lights. I took the car back to the dealership several times, and the service advisor (Karla) said, “Nothing we can do until the engine dies or the engine light comes back on.” During that period, my wife was expecting a child, and I needed a vehicle to commute to her appointments with my other daughter. Since she was high-risk, we had to go to Hamilton from Niagara Falls. I was too concerned about having my family in this problematic car, and I felt like they were made aware of the situation but did not care to fix it. From that point on, they were completely ignorant about it. Since then, I have been spending my time, energy, and money on this car, hoping it does not break down again in the middle of the road with my family in it. Now car’s engine is so shaky that I can feel and hear the engine knocking. Took car back to the dealership and they kept my car for two days and gave me estimated cost of repairs for $3000 and charged me $62 for that inspection and previous expenses out of my pocket, including oil top-ups, early oil changes, and spark plugs are countless. If they genuinely want to help customers make the right choice when buying their first car or favourite car, this is exactly opposite what they did in my case. This dealership is not the one to trust. They are more interested in making money than in helping customers. More

The dealership will start off extremely cooperative. Very responsive and extremely professional until you leave their dealership with the vehicle. I was told that the $500 deposit would be refunded to me when I picked up the vehicle. It was not. There were nicks in the vehicle from what I can assume was the detailing team. And despite the dealership knowing I was from NB (a province that does not require front licenses plates) they drilled 7 holes in my bumper without consulting with me first. I’ve reached out to Cam the general sales manager and Amit the general manager multiple times with no reply. I was told I was dishonest about the vehicle I was trading in, even tho I have text to prove that I was not. Lots of misinformation and behind the scenes things that were not approved by me first. Very disappointing More

Took my new 2024 vehicle in for an issue and still have the same issue a month later. They can reproduce issue but can’t seem to fix it. Told would get call back from service within the week.
