Lost my business after 4 years of being a loyal and valued client (or so I thought). I never had any issues, did all my oil changes there, had undercoating done every fall, did all levels of service th valued client (or so I thought). I never had any issues, did all my oil changes there, had undercoating done every fall, did all levels of service that were recommended, did customer satisfaction surveys, brought timbits every time I came in for an appointment, never expected immediate appointments. Then my calls and emails were dodged for two months regarding buying out my lease only for me to call on a different phone and then answered all of a sudden and given some xx lines about “junk mail” when multiple emails were sent in reply to previous conversations and voicemails were left for service, sales, finance and reception. I was lied to about things that needed to be done for safety, charged for things I wasn’t supposed to be charged for ($1100), yelled at over the phone by a manager who called me mean and vindictive when I literally asked to speak to someone in finance because no one had gotten back to me in MONTHS and was just trying to understand what I had done to deserve this treatment (sounds like I’m being a Karen but I have call logs and recordings) I was also told concerning things by said manager that, if I really did want to make a problem, would warrant an OMVIC complaint, The main problem employee is no longer there (big surprise) but it’s obvious that there are deeper issues with communication between departments and actually managing to keep employees. For a dealership that says they want to treat everyone like family, no part of me wants to be in that family if they continually show that they value the money over all else. Especially after having a meeting with the owner’s daughter to try to rectify the xxxx show that’s occurred, I was told that typically they would actually charge a fee to fix THEIR employee’s mistakes, to undo the “financial guidance” that actually set me further in debt but definitely resulted in their monetary gain, after TWO MONTHS of distress, as if I should be thankful they’re not charging me for taking the time to try to repair the broken trust after 4 years of loyal patronage. Maybe if I had bought a few more cars or sponsored a giveaway, I would’ve unlocked the respect I was given at the beginning that got lost somewhere. Sad that this is what it’s come to. Would not trust or recommend Kia North Bay service, sales or financing or anybody in between. More
Robyn and Eilisa are top notch, they are definitely experts in their fields! Everything was explained through every step of our purchase. Had an Excellent & extremely pleasurable Experience with Robyn Kimber on Sat. May 27/23. From the 1st "Hello"--it was as if you were meeting up again with a long last friend. She was very knowledgeable abou Robyn Kimber on Sat. May 27/23. From the 1st "Hello"--it was as if you were meeting up again with a long last friend. She was very knowledgeable about every vehicle we looked at without being the least bit pretentious or condescending. In the end, we found an exceptional slightly used car that is the perfect fit for us. Robyn went thru all the operations of the vehicle with us and had no problem answering the questions we did have. Bonnie Malette, Finance Mgr. was just as open and down to earth friendly as Robyn; and was quick and efficient in securing financing for the balance owing. On delivery day, Robyn went over all the vehicle operations again with us; and let us know she would always be available if any questions came up after the sale or any problems arose. Bonnie went over all the details of the sale and made sure there were no unanswered questions remaining. Judy and I found this was easily the best experience we've ever had in making a major purchase. If you're in the market for any used or new vehicle, We would strongly suggest you make Kia North Bay your 1st stop. Ask for Robyn Kimber, if you want a truly easy going, informative, and truly enjoyable experience--and you can expect the same quality of service from Bonnie Malette when finalizing the terms of your purchase. Bought a used vehicle from kia North Bay. Several issues including needing to replace brakes and tires within a week. I dealt with James Small and would NEVER deal with him again in fact I'll never seal with this dealership again. the worst service I have ever seen. bought a pre used car a 2018 hyundai Elantra and upon g again in fact I'll never seal with this dealership again. the worst service I have ever seen. bought a pre used car a 2018 hyundai Elantra and upon getting the vehicle I found I was sold a vehicle with a broken windshield washer fluid container and and a broken driver side door that doesn't unlock. it's been 8 months and they continue to lie to me by telling me they ordered the arts. yet i wait 4 weeks and call and all of a sudden they have no record of ever ordering them. after 8 months they all of a sudden try to pass the blame onto hyundai and that it's not their issue.. they will treat you great until the second you sign the paper and then your just a piece of garbage to them. the worst service ever. nothing but lies and they refuse to return phone calls at all. I've been nothing but patient and nice but after 8 months and no help I can't help but ensure that I leave my honest experience in hopes that it helps others avoid my same mistake.. shopping at kia of North bay! terrible service would not even recommend to my worst enemy. Buy used vehicle at own risk. Bought a 2016 grand caravan. Noticed within 3 or 4 days after purchase that transmission slips. But instead passed on the problem to myself. Do not recommend any purchase of used vehicle without third party inspection. More
