My wife and I were very impressed with the honesty and hospitality of the entire crew at Kia of Newmarket. The staff we were not dealing with were very approachable and I even got to discuss a little Jays talk with the boys! Overall, depending on the performance of our new Sportage, we will become a Kia family for sure! More
It seems that every time I took my Kia Magentis in for repair I have to wait months for parts and then the car is not fixed properly. Every time I went in for transmission work which was under warranty, repair I have to wait months for parts and then the car is not fixed properly. Every time I went in for transmission work which was under warranty, someone drained the oil out instead of the transmission fluid and didn't replace it. This happened FOUR times. One time I was left stranded in a remote section of highway in a blizzard with my disabled spouse and if it wasn't for a Regional Works truck coming to our rescue, the outcome could have been a disaster. There was no oil in the car again. Unbelievable. There was a recall for some rust damage at the front of the car and we took it in to Newmarket Kia to have the work done. The car came back with several other problems including a damaged gas line but Kia would not take responsibility for it. They said they never touched the gas line but they had to move it out of the way to fix the rust damage. I have yet to take my vehicle in to Newmarket Kia and not have it come out with a slew of other problems. I could write a book about this dealership and it wouldn't be pretty. I never go back now, and I will never buy another Kia product. The warranty is all hype. I recently went to another Kia dealership to look at a 2011 Kia Sorento and found out it had come from an auction in Quebec where the Carfax guides are meaningless. Another reason why I am looking at a Toyota. More
I bought a 2010 Kia Forte brand new and have had nothing but problems with it, took it in and was told "Well we cant find out what's wrong with it but we'll order the parts anyway" it took more than 3 month but problems with it, took it in and was told "Well we cant find out what's wrong with it but we'll order the parts anyway" it took more than 3 months to get those parts in, and it didn't even fix the problem. Took it back with a different problem ( horn didn't always work ) was told we'll order it and when it comes in we'll let you know... almost 5 months later and I'm still waiting to hear about it. More

I was looking to buy a used car for myself with very low km and got just what i was looking for at Kia of Newmarket. Kia made my search for a car and enjoyable process. Kieran was very helpful during my shopping process for a new Kia Forte Koup. While he did not have any manual tranmission Koups on hand, he did arrange for me to test a manual sedan so I could see how the new Kia Forte Koup. While he did not have any manual tranmission Koups on hand, he did arrange for me to test a manual sedan so I could see how the transmission was, and then a second drive in an automatic Koup, so I could better determine the handling characteristics of that model. He is very knowledgeable on the product line I was interested in and has a genuine passion for automobiles, which I share. The model and colour I wanted in particular were not available on the lot, and I expected a wait of at least several weeks to locate one in the province or order one from Kia, but the team came through and found me exactly what I wanted in less than a week. Everything was ready at the agreed upon time for pick-up and the car looked really fabulous. Also thanks to Elaine for her wonderful assistance with sorting out all of the financing and warranty options I was looking for. If you do have a chance to work with her, hopefully you will also be lucky enough to meet her two adorable dogs, which was relaxing after a long day of car shopping. This is the third vehicle my family has purchased from Kia of Newmarket, and I am sure it will not be our last. A great team and some really well-designed cars from Kia make for an outstanding shopping experience. More
I own a 2008 Sorento and was servicing at another Kia dealer. I came to Kia of Newmarket for service and was a great experience , I was dealing with Nunzio and Debbie and got great service. I went into this dealership with an understanding of what I was looking for, as I did my research before going in. Blake helped me along, gave me plenty of options and didn’t try to force anything on me that I was looking for, as I did my research before going in. I had been driving mini-vans for quite some time but found that i dont need quite as much space as they have and would prefer the look and flexibility of an SUV.
