When I called to schedule my service appointment, Kate was able to schedule me in within a few days. The timing of the appointment was perfect - I was able to drop the car off before work, be shuttled to was able to schedule me in within a few days. There were quite a few things that were worked on on the car, so I was impressed I was able to pick the car up, ready to go, at 4pm. Also, the shuttle service is perfect - I was able to get to and from work, which was so convenient. I dealt with Kate from the initial phone call right through to pick-up, so it was nice to have one person to speak with throughout the whole service process. Kate was nice and cheerful, even early on a Monday morning! She was very accommodating (arranged a shuttle pickup at the last minute at the end of the day), and very helpful (we spoke about car cleaning packages and what was offered). She went through the billing/receipt thoroughly with me, and I received excellent customer service and all my questions were answered. As a person who is not overly familiar with cars, this was very appreciated. I will definitely be bringing my car back to this dealership. I work in Aurora but live in Toronto so I need my car to commute to and from work every day, but I would rather bring my car to this dealership over one in Toronto because I was impressed with the service I received and it was very convenient to drop my car off before work and have it ready to go at the end of the day. Great experience! I had visited a few Kia dealerships before finding Kia of Newmarket. They had the best price. The sales associate Luca, has a no pressure sales approach. I received a recall notice in the mail about a brake light switch on my KIA Soul. I called the next day and they said they could get me in the following day. I was greeted with a smile and told it could light switch on my KIA Soul. I called the next day and they said they could get me in the following day. I was greeted with a smile and told it could take about 90min for the replacement of the switch. I grabbed a free coffee and settled in for the wait. About 25 min later Kate came over and told me it was all done. I hadn't even finished my coffee! I was there, serviced and home in less than an hour. This dealership has been great to deal with since I bought my vehicle there in 2009. More
This was the first dealership that suggested that we bring our dog for a test drive to make sure she was comfortable in the back. We needed a hatch back just for that reason. We did not feel pressured through any aspect with this dealership from the sales to the financing to the manager. Our trade in was not drive able so they offered us free pick up of our vehicle. The sales person David kept us informed and was very patient and professional with us as we tried out a number of vehicles. We were impressed with David's knowledge of the vehicle from the engine to the paint to the interior workings of all the instruments. We were not so educated and were greatly appreciative of his time and patience. Our previous dealership relationships were painful but this experience at Kia and with the Kia staff have renewed our faith and trust. I have been a KIA customer from the time I bought my first new car, which was MANY years ago. My first new car was a Kia Sephia, then I went to the Kia Sedona, for space to travel with a new baby, then first new car, which was MANY years ago. My first new car was a Kia Sephia, then I went to the Kia Sedona, for space to travel with a new baby, then I purchased the Kia Ronda when I downsized, and just recently, I went back to the 2014 Kia Sedona, for more space and comfort for travel. This was my FIRST time purchasing from Kia of Newmarket. Our experience with Blake was superb! He was a pleasant young man, with a good sense of humour. I really appreciated the fact that, if he was unsure of something, he wouldn't try to hide that he didn't know. He was very forthcoming and quick to get us our answers. He was very patient and courteous to us, as we visited and drove some vehicles several times before making our purchase. The experience of the dealership, as a whole, was very comfortable and welcoming. Once we had visited for the first time, we were welcomed in with friendly smiles and greetings every time after. My husband and I were given lots of freedom and space to discuss things on our own, without feeling pressured. After visiting several dealerships and exploring our options, we returned to Kia to make our final purchase. There is NO feeling of being given a line by "cheesy car salesman" at Kia. Also, I received a birthday card in the male, hand written by Blake himself. My husband is due for a new vehicle soon and we have no doubt where we will return to for that purchase. To top it off, there are a bunch of Toronto Maple Leaf fans working there!!!! YAY! Go Leafs Go! .....Thank you Blake, and Kia Newmarket for a wonderful experience, and an amazing vehicle! Right now, I'm feeling like I'm one of the only 2014 Sedona's on the road as I don't know that they have even advertised them as of yet! I've had lots of compliments on mine!!! Our experience with the accounting/paperwork end was fantastic as well. Unfortunately, at this specific moment, I can't remember her name, but she is the one responsible for going through your purchase agreement and all the monetary end! She was straight up about things, she was honest when asked questions that she very easily could have lied about to get more money for the company, and she even threw in a little "treat" for me! I aplogize for losing her name at this moment but I didn't want to forget to mention her just because I misplaced her name!!! Fed up with big city attitudes, recently my wife and I decided to try the communities surrounding the GTA and ended up at Kia Of Newmarket. I would like to single out our sales consultant Luca Bensette, for the pleasant and thoughtful manner in which he handled us. He put us completely at ease by the way he dealt with us. He always answered - what often amounted to the same basic questions - with great patience, as if we were asking them for the very first time. Most importantly, although we showed up considering buying a new Kia product, I believe he helped us just the same when our choice ended up being a low mileage Jeep Grand Cherokee from the dealer's used car selection. In other words, he directed his service to our particular needs! Thanks too, to Helen Li in Financial Services and the Sales Mgr, Jay Jung. In fact all the staff we came in contact with at Kia Of Newmarket. I hope the people in Toronto take heed.
