Charged us $1500 for replacing in-dash music system with navigation. Dealer replaced with a cheap incompatible nav. System (non kia item) USB port does not work, screen freezes always. Called service centre, (very rude and unfriendly), only to get confirmation that it is not compatible. They don't honor their advertisement 6 months no payment- did not honor 0 percent financing- did not honor Send $1000 coupon in mail - did not honor More
Bought my Soul here. It was my own mistake to do the pickup in a thunderstorm but afterwards, I noticed all these small scratches that the dealer blamed on my driving 5km's home. Add to that, a salesma pickup in a thunderstorm but afterwards, I noticed all these small scratches that the dealer blamed on my driving 5km's home. Add to that, a salesman that couldn't show me how to sync my bluetooth phone with the car and you get an incompetent crew. The other KIA Souls that i see on the road have all these options that the F&I manager didn't even tell me about. I was willing to pay more but it had to be the most un-exciting purchase ever. I love my KIA, but I won't be going back there. Not even for service. More
A couple of bad experiences. Firstly, I took in my Rondo for a brake issue and was charged for servicing my brakes. When I returned home and was swapping my wheels and tires, I noticed that the brakes were for a brake issue and was charged for servicing my brakes. When I returned home and was swapping my wheels and tires, I noticed that the brakes were not touched at all. The dust and residue was inatct from months of driving. I contacted Jason and asked to come in to speak with him about the issue. In explaining what I had found, I suggested to Jason that he was the expert and I would appreciate it if he would check it out for himself. After waiting about an hour, Jason invited me into the service area to inspect the vehicle with the mechanic who performed the brake service (the mechanic's name escapes my right now). To my amazement, some sort of brake (lubricating) spray had been carefully applied to all four disc brake assemblies. The mechanic explained that the work was done and this is the proof that it was done. If I had known that I was dealing with a dubious set of characters, I would have taken photo's earlier to refute their claims. When I mentioned that the brake issue was still there, Jason said that he would have the front brake rotors changed under warranty. The point he missed was that I had already paid for a brake service that was obviously not done. Additionally, my last visit for an oil change resulted in my rear windscreen wiper blade being swapped for one that was falling apart, which I did not notice until later that same week. I inspect and clean my wiper blades every time I fill up fuel and since I knew the rear wiper was in very good condition prior to the oil change, there was no way that the wiper on my vehicle after the oil change could have been the same one. This wiper blade was falling apart in several places along the length of it. I will be taking pictures of my vehicle prior to dropping it off for service and will be monitoring the situation very closely to catch these fraudsters red-handed. Needless to say, I will not be buying another Kia vehicle or having it serviced at this Dealership ever again. More
The worst experience I have had at any cardealership--i walked away in disbelief. The sales rep was rude, unprofessional and for that reason would never have purchased a car from that dealer. He never once walked away in disbelief. The sales rep was rude, unprofessional and for that reason would never have purchased a car from that dealer. He never once asked me for my name, and as I sat in his office he asked what I wanted--no hello or introduction. The manager Adam did come in to mitigate the situation as Shervin had been getting worked up over a price disagreement. If it wasn't for him, I would have walked away from a Kia. For that reason, went to 401 Kia and had an amazing experience and got the price and car I wanted. More
In the beginning of June 2012, I had purchased a used SAAB from KIA Brampton. There was an agreement that I had signed in regards to all the work and tune ups that the car will have before I picked it up SAAB from KIA Brampton. There was an agreement that I had signed in regards to all the work and tune ups that the car will have before I picked it up. Once I took it into the SAAB dealership for some regular maintenance, I discovered that what was written by KIA in the agreement was not taken care of. And I had to pay out of my own pocket for what was supposed to be done. I tried to get in contact with KIA many times, to see if I can get reimbursed for what was supposedly covered under a warranty, and I wasn't able to get anything. I spoke to them a few times, and each time they apologized and promised that they would mail out a cheque for the payment I had made. Its now nearing October and I still haven't gotten anything or heard back from them. It is not about the money for me, but I do not appreciate being told that they will pay me back and they have done nothing yet. I believe it is poor customer service skills. I have given up trying to fight for this cheque, but I can strongly say that I am not pleased with the service at that specific KIA. -Ted More
I have given a very poor rating of this dealership JUST for the sales department. I have to say that i have been using the service department for all the work on my Kia Sedona only because the service m for the sales department. I have to say that i have been using the service department for all the work on my Kia Sedona only because the service manager, Paul, is FANTASTIC. I never have any trouble trusting his recommendations, or work. I must hand it to the technicians too, as the service always seems to be done well ... i can only judge that on the basis that they complete the work quickly and I have not had any problems as i am not a mechanic so i dont stick my head into my car to inspect their work. The sales department however is another story. They engage in age old 'car salesmen' tactics. I fell victim to the 'bait and switch' with the purchase of my new vehicle. When i discovered the issue on the way home from the dealer, i returned with my vehicle to let them know. They denied the issue several times until i showed them the evidence proving my assertion and they finally agreed they had pulled a fast one and offered me oil changes as compensation. Then, another bait and switch attempt. When i finished paying for my car they called me to come in as they had a great offer to get me into a new model of the Sedona ... new car, lower payments, with a straight trade of the vehicle. I swore I wasn't going to buy another car from them again but the deal sounded good and the salesperson seemed sincere. I trust they knew the age of the vehicle based on my purchase date, and could guess the mileage because i was right on the industry average of 20k kms per year, not to mention all of my service was done in their shop. That was the bait. The switch came when the salesperson presented an offer of sale and they had tacked on several thousand dollars, but tried to hide it by presenting a monthly payment. I did the math and asked where the extra cost factored in, and he said given the age and the mileage of my vehicle, the value of the trade was lower. He called ME, based on the age of my vehicle given the financing just ended! Even a layman can figure this out. The salesman became quite abrupt after I caught the change in value, and dragged out the return of my van keys from inspection until i had to become very direct in demanding their return to me. Wow. I won't ever trust this dealer again. Over a period of 5 years they managed to keep the same tactics of shadiness so i can't see this changing ever. However, if you own a Kia, go see Paul in the service department. ** note to Paul** if you read this, your service advisers could be a little friendlier :) More
