They go out of their way to make the customer satisfied with their purchase. I shopped around at different KIA dealerships and KIA Vancouver by far the best I had encountered. More
Marco Almidani Is an absolute unprofessional and ethical sales person. I called this dealership on the morning of March 11 to view a used Model Y on the lot. I made a test Drive appointment for 1030 wit sales person. I called this dealership on the morning of March 11 to view a used Model Y on the lot. I made a test Drive appointment for 1030 with the sales rep Moe. He informed me that the 7.99% financing listed online was not set in stone and with good financing it would be less. We arrived on time and were set up with Lalaine as Moe was busy with another client; she informed us the car had already sold . Marco proceeded to inform Moe the car sold the day before. I expressed my disappointment with unprofessionalism ; I had driven 45 minutes and arranged childcare for nothing. So Marco stepped in to say he will find me another one for the same price. Then he tried to talk about other options , listing off other makes and models. When I insisted on the Tesla, He then said he would arrange a back up deal. The initial sale was pending financing. I then said well happily go to the bank and pay cash today. He said he’s not interested in a cash deal. I informed him it’s illegal not to accept legal tender for a purchase. And he said no , he can decide whether or not he wants to sell a car cash or not. My husband and I picked up and left. Moments later , we received a call from Marco’s colleague and fellow sales manager Jason. He said if we’re willing to return and do business with them , they could do a cash deal. At that point I explained exactly what happened with Marco and that he was the reason why people do not trust car salespeople. I told him they have my business if they reduce the price. After waiting 25 minutes for him to get in touch with the owner , the reduced price was authorized. We returned to the dealership with the bank draft and continued the paperwork with Lalaine. Marco came up to us all smiley and wanting to chat. I let him know exactly what I thought of his unprofessional and unethical behaviour. He insisted he was the one who made the deal and stormed off like a child having a tantrum. Jason Au came up to us and thanked us for our business and apologized for the negative experience. Lalaine and Jason were lovely. Do not deal with Marco. Honestly I have no idea how he has a job. His behaviour was disgusting and I question whether there even was a first deal… but I digress. I got a model y under market value - the silver lining in all this. More

Careful! Dealership and salesperson matter, avoid this location. A few months back we contacted Kia on the internet and as bad luck would have it, our inquiry was forwarded to Adrian, a salesperson at Kia, We were buying a second car for our family and chose the Soul EV. We were to be leasing this second car and told Adrian that sticker price wasn't really as big a deal as how much the monthly payment (all in) was as that was going to make or break our decision. We got our monthly payment in writing and then waited (as you have to with EVs these days) .... Long story short , car arrived and they tried to bait and switch and would not honour the price. The quoted monthly wasn't a "here it is based on today's rates etc" it is "here is your monthly payment". - The bait and switch would have added more than $5000 to the total car cost. Be careful, he tried to casually get me to sign the docs. I got my deposit back and can now start trying to find a reputable , honest place to buy an EV car from, but that will likely entail another long wait. I suppose wasting a couple days finding out who these people are is better than taking delivery when it comes to service. If service operates like the salespeople I'm sure it is always more expensive than quoted. Kia makes good cars, just go get one somewhere other than Kia Marine Drive. Life is too short to deal with people who look you in the eye and try to con you More
On about May 5th, I made an appointment to have my car looked at because I felt the transmission failing. I was afraid to drive the car. Vancouver Kia (who I am leasing this brand new car from) would no looked at because I felt the transmission failing. I was afraid to drive the car. Vancouver Kia (who I am leasing this brand new car from) would not look at my car until May 31st because they said they "have no Technicians". I said the car will be dead by then and I cannot just park the car and not use it for nearly a month. I am disabled and need a car to get to my 2 jobs (Cannot take transit because of all the walking, I have MS and work in a dangerous neighborhood at night. Also, transit commute to my main job is 4 hours) Sure enough, my car died in a major intersection on May 9th. This could have caused a major accident. I missed work and had my car towed to Richmond Kia who helped me in right away. Before the car even broke down, Richmond Kia set up an appointment for me for the next day, since it was a serious matter. My car died the day before my appointment at Richmond Kia. They triage repairs at the Richmond location. Vancouver Kia told my husband they do not do triage repairs (husband went to see them in person on May 7th to ask again if they could get me in faster because he confirmed there was a serious issue with the transmission)..So they had no problem letting a disabled woman who has problems walking, drive a car with a slipping transmission. Richmond Kia had to replace the entire transmission on this brand new car. I am out many hundreds of dollars because of taking Ubers and missing work. After writing a letter to Kia Canada, I got a courtesy car and my car was fixed in a week. Initially they said it would take many weeks, but did everything to push things ahead when I told them my work and health situation. I will not deal with South Vancouver Kia again and will never lease from them again. I am paying lease payments and they expected me to go without a working vehicle for over a month. No offer of a replacement car or courtesy car or anything. I was going to buy this car after the lease was up, but I will not be purchasing it now. In 9 months time the transmission failed. The suspension feels messed up already too. I really want to just dump this lemon off at the dealership, hand them the keys and walk away. I would except I don't want my credit destroyed. I am stuck leasing this lemon for 4 more years. If a customer is making over $500 per month in lease payments, you should not strand them without a vehicle for over a month! I think that's breach of contract or something isn't it? More

I loved this dealership, bought my car here in 2013 but every time I come in for service and sit up in the waiting room in the show lounge, some idiot plays nightclub DJ and has music pounding. I’ve brough every time I come in for service and sit up in the waiting room in the show lounge, some idiot plays nightclub DJ and has music pounding. I’ve brought it to their attention the last 3 times I visited. The electric thud thud thud is annoying! I’ve left here with a headache every time I visit! Someone should tell this fool that the average age of their customers is not 21! More
I bought a kia sportage & was not given or advised about the tire lock key. I went to get tires changed then learned about this item. I reached out to Kia & was told I would have to purchase the item myself the tire lock key. I went to get tires changed then learned about this item. I reached out to Kia & was told I would have to purchase the item myself. This is like selling a car & not providing the starter key. Very disappointing & unprofessional! More
