Even after delivery, he arranged for Service to take care of a small problem we found. He kept in contact via text throughout, but was never pushy. Though I did not immediately buy there, the sales associate (Tony) took the time to patiently walk me through my decision process as I eliminated certain choices based on individual parameters. In the days and weeks following, Tony took the time to follow up with me when new inventory had arrived in their showroom that met my specific criteria. Each time we spoke, he took the time and effort to understand my preferences and tailor his recommendations towards my needs. With a huge used lot and showroom, and no hassle approach to customer service, I would highly recommend Kia on Hunt Club as a good destination to begin pursuit of a new vehicle. More
First in Canada, yes! I was looking to buy the new Kia Soul EV. This dealership was the only one in the area that was carrying it. Would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a Kia or a quality used vehicle. Loved the indoor showroom for used vehicles. More
The worst experience i have ever had! On Monday, November 10, 2014 I saw a Vehicle on Kijiji with the Kia On Hunt Club company information. I drove from Toronto, to Ottawa to look at the v On Monday, November 10, 2014 I saw a Vehicle on Kijiji with the Kia On Hunt Club company information. I drove from Toronto, to Ottawa to look at the vehicle. I test drove it that day, the salesmen was no real help I was informing him on the vehicle and basically showed myself the car, versus him selling me the car. After the test drive the salesmen (Curly haired, younger guy) past me immediately to a Finance Manager (Male) and without any discussion of the price of the vehicle, negotiations, he ran a credit check. They said they would let me know and I left, the salesmen didn’t even try and walk me out of the dealership to insure I had a good experience and fill me in on when I may know about getting the vehicle. On Tuesday, November 11, 2014 I was called by another Finance Manager (Female) she asked my questions about my Business and what things were on my credit report to have proper knowledge to talk with lenders. The first finance manager did not do any of these things, so that turned into a lot more work for the Female finance manager. On Friday, November 14, 2014 at 8:15 PM at night I found out I had been fully approved I went in and signed all the paper work (Was not shown the Car proof) I signed the papers and we agreed to delivery on Monday, November 17, 2014. I left the dealership that night with them not negotiating the price of the vehicle at all and not being happy about that. I had also placed a work order for winter tires, with a note that I was picking the tires myself. On Monday, November 17, 2014 I called the dealership in the morning (7:59 AM) I spoke with a service-parts man, he said they were putting the tires on the vehicle (I was calling to order the tires I wanted, so how was he putting tires on he didn’t know I wanted?) So I picked the tires that I wanted and with just asking questions on which tires he recommended I felt like he was very dismissive and just wanted to get off the phone with me (The conversation was only 1:34 seconds). So I ordered the tires and was waiting for those to be installed and the safety-emissions to be completed. I called the dealership at 1:05 PM, I was told the vehicle had failed the emissions and was on a drive (They told me 60 Km to get the engine warm) so I said that’s fine ill be in shortly to wait as 60km should only take, what 30 minutes??! I arrived at the dealership at approximately 2:00 PM, I went in to sign that last set of papers needed. I was sitting in the Finance Managers office and was asked to sign a OMVIC paper showing I had knowledge of the “Dirty” Car proof report, It was not disclosed to be that the vehicle had been in an accident and had been damaged. I was very dissatisfied, I told the finance manager I wouldn’t have purchased a vehicle I knew had been in any form of any accident. With my frustration growing increasingly I signed the paper and was trying to get them to discount the price of the car (Since they hadn’t discounted it AT ALL) they would not do so. I was so frustrated at this point I just wanted to the car and to leave. At 3:00 PM I asked where the car was and I got the same run around that It had failed the safety and they had to take it for a 60 km drive to clear the engine. At 4:47 PM the vehicle finally returned to the dealership as I waited. I had been so frustrated with the salesmen and his complete lack of knowledge and proper etiquette for selling, any item. He was uninformative, did not disclose it had been in an accident or had damage (I already reported him and the dealership to OMVIC). I was so upset with him I had to ask the manager to keep him away from me for the remainder of the time I was at the dealership and that I didn’t want him around me to “Show” me the car when I took delivery. For all the stress (There was way to much) ultimately I love the vehicle, but that’s because GM makes a good vehicle. That has nothing to do with the appalling service I received I could never recommend Kia on Hunt Club, in Ottawa to anyone at all. The two men I dealt with (Salesmen & Finance Manager) I felt both treated me unfairly and were rude and dismissive because I am a younger female. Literally the only person who was helpful was the Female Finance Manager, everyone else made it an experience that was just terrible. More
