I brought the car in for regular service and tire change. They found significant problems with my back brakes, and minor problems with my front brakes. I dropped my 2019 sorento off for recall service and an oil change and brake inspection. I was not able to make it to the dealership before closing but was informed that I could leave my vehicle on the ro oil change and brake inspection. I was not able to make it to the dealership before closing but was informed that I could leave my vehicle on the road in front of the dealership and the tech would bring it in in the morning. Fast forward just less then 4 week later I received a parking ticket in the mail for $85 for parking on the road in front of the dealership where I was instructed to leave it. Now when I went into pick up the sorento later the next day after the work was completed, I was neither informed about a ticket or was it still in the windshield under the wiper. Now the dealership service opens at 8 am and the ticket is for 9:45 am, so my vehicle remained on the road for at least 2 hours after the shop opened even tho I was told it would be brought in off the road when the staff arrived. As stated when I picked up my vehicle and paid my balance, no one told me of a parking ticket that would have been clearly visible to anyone. Nor was it still under the wiper blade. So the ticket was concealed from me . After receiving it in the mail I called and spoke with the service manager and his name is Andrew. He informs me that the dealership will not be covering the ticket and does not believe that anything was hidden from me. He claims that they did nothing wrong and are not responsible for a missing ticket that was received in front of their location. But had they done their due diligence and brought my vehicle in when they arrived like a was told they would I would not had received a ticket that I have to pay. That is terrible customer service. I would never bring my business to their dealership again. I even bought my first new car at this location and this is how I’m treated. More
