First a suggestion : When selling a Mercedes product make sure that the previous owner has been removed from the " Connect Me " App which controls most of the cars extra control systems . The reason for buying a newer vehicle was to remove existing problems , not to create new ones . Now we may have to make a trip to a Mercedes dealer with proof of owner ship to make the transfer & possibly pay a fee ?? The buying process was a lack lustre process , the Car Gurus web page which directed me to 417 did not mention about the extra charge for a cash sale, Your web site does . Car gurus also offers the opportunity to sell ones car to them with no hassles , Not Offered . After several days of looking on line and having turned down a trade In offer $ 1500.00 higher that you. Since our trip involved a 4 hr. drive in total , we couldn't face starting from scratch. If we had been local we probably would have walked out the door. The Trade In offered , and decided without any negotiating or quotes from anyone , yet all of the other "online quote "platforms offered K's more . Supposedly our car was to be put on an auction site to attract bidders , strange how no documentation of this event was presented . We were left with the same amount decided upon by the MGR ? in the first 1/2 Hr. of our visit. A week goes by to get a safety , with no feedback . Job # 1 is to maximize profits , customer satisfaction is not a priority , this is The New Norm " no matter Where or What one tries to do . Why did this transaction not leave me feeling "Warm & Fuzzy " Thanks for the opportunity , just trying to keep up the Rick Mercer Tradition . More
