I hate how greasy this dealership is. I found a vehicle online that stated that it was "in Kelowna". I requested a test drive. I received a text reply stating that I could come in for a drive at 2pm. At almost the same time another sales guy called me to tell me that that particular vehicle actually wasn't even in Kelowna. It was located at their lot in Victoria! They provide inaccurate information online to get you in the door so that they can swindle you into a vehicle that you were not interested in the first place. Just be honest with your customers! More
I live in Creston, bc. I am a senior widow min income. I traded a 2018 tucson to Kelowna Hyundai for a 2017 ford escape. I had been shopping online, had carfax, estimates, repair bills, etc from k Hyundai before I went the 5 hrs to Kelowna to buy this car. All paperwork looked good. Trade done, drove back home to Creston, found there was a shuddering intermittently, thought it may be the new pirelli tires that I wasn’t used to. ( I am a senior widow on low income). Took to tire shop in Creston, not the tires. Felt like maybe water in the gas, went to premium gas, still misfiring. Took to creston Kokanee ford to look for problem; they found all cylinders misfiring, changed faulty spark plugs, they wrote this note “noticed a torque converter shudder and intermit harsh engagement and shifting from transmission, checked fluid level and condition, level is good but fluid is getting dark (looks original) recommend service. Also noticed right rear toe link installed incorrectly and grounding out against unibody”. They said that on the Carfax, it didn’t look like the transmission oil had been ever changed, and at the mileage of 125,000 it should’ve changed three times already. So if this was original oil, it probably would leak if new oil was put into it, as the old oil would sludge and plug up any leaks. They recommendated to take it back because if the torque converter or the transmission had to be worked on, it was a big bill. Meanwhile, I paid 570.68 for this check up. So I wanted to return within the 30 days of purchase. I purchased this vehicle May 19, 2026; my Ford service was done on June 16, 2026 so I took the car back to Kelowna on June 17, 2026, within the 30 days and asked for a refund. Sam, the manager, flatly refused. I had paid 15,774.93 for this vehicle, including my trade-in. I then drove this vehicle back home to Creston, went to Cranbrook and traded this vehicle in on a newer vehicle the next day, getting only 3500 Trade in,So I am out 12,274.96 +570.68 for the Ford checkup. I had a terrible experience with Kelowna Hyundai from the general sales manager, sales rep, service department to the receptionist in May 2026. I had done a few repairs leading up to this instance. All the r general sales manager, sales rep, service department to the receptionist in May 2026. I had done a few repairs leading up to this instance. All the repairs I had done up to that point had cost me already about $6,500.00. Then in May 2026 my Tuscon started jolting and shaking. I took it to Hyundai Service department to have it assessed. I was given a few days later an estimate of $12,000.00. I decided it didn't make sense to put $12,000.00 in it with the amount of money I had already spent. I spoke to the General Sales Manager about whether the would assess my vehicle and buy it from me. I told him I didn't have the money to do a trade in. He still talked about a trade in anyways. He said he would have my vehicle assessed. I waited and then after a few days phoned Hyundai to follow up on whether they would buy my vehicle. When i called in i couldn't remember the sales managers name and they didnt have any notes or anything on me in their system so I was instead then told the receptionist would transfer me to a Sale rep. She put me on hold. 10 second later she picked up and said sorry where did you need to go? I said a sales rep. She then transferred me to the service department. It was apathetic and she was inattentive. It was a mess, i then asked to be transferred to a manager. I had to repeat my whole situation then he said he would get my vehicle assessed. So no I had to wait twice the amount of time. In the meantime the sales manager never phoned me back so clearly he forgot about me. After a few days went buy then I followed up again with the Sales Rep this time and had written down his name so i knew who to ask for. He told me he still hadnt gotten the assessment yet. I waited then a few more days then followed up. He told me that they wouldn't outright buy it but would do a trade in. I had told him prior to as well as the sales manager I wasn't able to do a trade in. I then repeated it again to him. I said I would need a few days to decide what to do with my vehicle. Each day after that the Sales Rep phoned me following up with asking me what I was going to do with my vehicle. I thought this was satirical and ironic considering I gave them a few days each time to figure out my assessment when they didn't even do it the first 2 times i phoned, but yet, when I am the client who's been deceived trying to figure out my next step I am being phoned every day. After a few days I decided to get rid of it have my vehicle towed with Pick and Pull. I phoned the Sales Rep back and told him I would be have Pick and Pull tow it on the Monday at 10:00AM and that I would arrive at about 9:45AM to pay the bill for assessing the Tuscon. When I showed up on the Monday at 9:45AM I walked in told them my name and then before I could say anything else the Service Department asked where my vehicle was and that I could bring it in. I said "oh no, the vehicle is already here, I spoke to the Sales Rep, *****(sales rep name) and told him I would be here at 9:45AM to pay the assessment bill for my tuscon ". The Service Department then said "It would have been nice to have a heads up" I said well I would have thought the Sales Rep would have told you I was going to show up especially when I gave all the details and you guys work in the same building (sales rep could have emailed/ phoned/ walked over to the service department). He said no he wasn't told anything. I paid my bill then I followed him to the lot and he shrugged his shoulders saying well i don't where it is, do you see your vehicle? (bad attitude/ no care) we ended up turning the alarm on to find my vehicle. My vehicle was tightly parked between 2 other vehicles. He offered no help in emptying my vehicle not even a bag/ or a glass of water (30 degrees that day). I won't name the Sales Rep because I don't want make this personal to them. It's Hyundai Kelowna as a whole that needs to improve. NEVER BUY OR DEAL WITH HYUNDAI. More

Charlene was incredibly compassionate and her and the service mgr advocated with Hyundai Canada to get my engine replaced for free. They arranged a loner as I just recently moved here. I was impressed by the level of communication through every step of a month long process. I also got a full video of my vehicle diagnostic which no dealership or autobody shop had ever provided. I have shared my experience to others and they said they would buy a hyundai because of how well my bad experience was turned around by the service department. Their oil change and tire switchover and storage are also very reasonable. They gave me peace of mind and treated me like a family member not just another customer. More

From the very beginning, we established a strong sense of trust, which made the entire process comfortable and stress-free. BT is a true professional and a genuine gentleman. You can tell he’s a family man who really cares about the people he works with, and that comes through in how he treats his customers. He was knowledgeable, patient, and never once made me feel pressured. What stood out most was how he went above and beyond throughout the entire process to make sure everything went smoothly and that I felt confident in my decision. It’s clear why he’s so well-liked. One moment that really stood out: after the vehicle was detailed and ready for pickup, I was expecting to head back to the dealership—but instead, my doorbell rang and BT had personally delivered the Palisade to my home. That level of service was completely unexpected and speaks volumes about his commitment to his customers. I would highly recommend asking for BT if you’re visiting Kelowna Hyundai. More
I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Harold Blomerus in the service department is absolutely top notch. We kept getting the run around at another Hyundai dealership about our EV car not Harold Blomerus in the service department is absolutely top notch. We kept getting the run around at another Hyundai dealership about our EV car not being under warranty to fix a major battery issue. It took Harold less than 10 minutes to confirm that yes, we were under warranty and that we had extended warranty through Hyundai as well. Three weeks later, we basically have a brand new car again with the amazing work done by Harold and Dustin, the EV tech specialist! We will continue our journey with them from now on! More

Traded in my vehicle and they ended up taking 2 extra payments for a vehicle I no longer owned. 1 month later I got back 1 payment, not 2, and it wasn’t even the full amount! Do not recommend even steppi payments for a vehicle I no longer owned. 1 month later I got back 1 payment, not 2, and it wasn’t even the full amount! Do not recommend even stepping through their doors… go anywhere else unless you want to lose your money! More
