I normally don't write reviews but after the fantastic experience I had dealing with Josh and David buying our Mazda 5, I just felt that they totally deserve some kind words. Josh went above and beyond for us to ensure that we got a great deal and price. His patience was truly appreciated. With two young kids, it was really hard to sync our schedules and get into the dealership but Josh was extremely accommodating and even came in to meet us on his day off. He is extremely knowledgeable, polite, and well spoken, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. I felt like I was doing business with a friend and not a sales representative. He is a true professional and 2nd to none in my humble opinion and Kanata Mazda is lucky to have him. David took care of the financing and kept in touch with us, dotting all the I's and crossing all the t's. He explained all of our options and never once pressured us into something we didn't want or need. He even helped with some great advice regarding our other car and we 100% are going to buy a second car from Kanata Mazda as soon as we can. Fantastic product, amazing price, and great service. 10 out of 10 and I highly recommend. More

I made an appointment online and was quickly taken care of when I showed up. Nothing negative to say, I do find the hourly rate a bit high but it's the same everywhere so what can you do. Kanata Mazda has great service. I used to live in the east end and dealt with another dealer. Even if I hadn't move west, I would still have come here. I had two terrible experiences at this dealership. First, while waiting for my ca, I can hear me of the sales guys swearing up a storm. Open concept area allow for noises like ths to be heard. Secondly, while giving the, one last chance, the dealership neglected to remember that bolts on tires actually need to be tightened. I luckily learned of the problem before a large problem could have occurred. Two emails sent with a deadline to respond and still waiting. More
Second last week of April 2013 I was car shopping. Went to all the MYERS dealers at the Kanata complex looking for the best fit for my budget and needs. I saw an ad in the paper for another Mazda dealer i to all the MYERS dealers at the Kanata complex looking for the best fit for my budget and needs. I saw an ad in the paper for another Mazda dealer in Ottawa (other end of town from me) for great deals on all remaining 2012 Mazda 3 skyactiv, brand new just taking up space. I brought that ad to the closer Kanata Mazda, and was told basically to get out of there as they wanted 3K more and would not budge even consider dealing with me at those advertised prices (All Mazda dealers are severely discounting the 2012s with the 2014 roll outs) So I got out of there and went to the next Mazda dealer in town and they matched the price AND gave me the automatic at the price I was willing to pay for the Standard in the ad! They took their time with me while Kanata Mazda had me out the door ( I was willing to still find an arrangement) in 3 minutes. Even with Kanta Mazda being closer, I will be doing all my service at the farther away dealers. I do not know if this lack of customer service is a MYERS problem because I had similar brief abrupt and rude encounters at the other MYERS dealers in the auto park (MYERS Toyota, MYERS Honda, MYERS Hyundai) when I was doing my research 2 days before I chose the Mazda 3 Skyactiv as the car I want.... The only saving point to the brand was Rob at MYERS Chevy, although the Cruze was not the fit for me, at least he took the time to help me try a few cars and go over a few details. More
I recently dealt with a saleperson at Kanata Mazda when I was looking for a used vehicle. After test driving a car and talking price etc I was made to wait almost 30 minutes while he allegedly went to find i was looking for a used vehicle. Guess he doesn't know that most people know about the ice the customer tactic. The most disturbing thing happened after he came back to inform us we wuld have to wait another 15 minutes. After making me wait for this information ( the in-service date) and well after I had made my offer on the car, he told me that I would have to put a deposit down on my credit card just for him to take my offer to the manager for approval. He said this was to show I was serious about the car. I have never had that stunt pulled on me before and after speaking with colleagues, friends and family, they haven't either. Basically, he wanted me to put a deposit down so he would walk down the hall to present my offer to his manager. He would not bring my offer to the manager until I made this deposit despite the fact we were nowhere near signing or agreeing to a price. I found the whole experience there negative,high pressure and dishonest. I will never buy a car from them. I refused to pay the deposit and walked out of the dealership after indicating what I thought of his approach. There are options out there so avoid this place and their tactics. I am a firm believer in honest customer serivce and respect, so I am telling everyone who will listen not to give their business to places like this. More
Called parts to ask question about winter rims and tires. I was quoted at a local tire store $899 for no name rubber and standard rims. Kanata Mazda said they can better that deal. They offered me brand name tires and Rims for $920 all included. They said they could do it right away and held their word. I was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. The staff was very friendly and courteous. More
