Great Experience Big Thanks to Jefferson De Jesus, Steve Ful We purchased a Corolla Hybrid in July 2019 brilliant on fuel, we dealt with Sales Manager Steve Fuller, he worked hard to acquire a Hybrid and pulled We purchased a Corolla Hybrid in July 2019 brilliant on fuel, we dealt with Sales Manager Steve Fuller, he worked hard to acquire a Hybrid and pulled some strings so we only waited 6 weeks for delivery when the normal timeline is 6 months wait..Steve works tirelessly to satisfy the customer. Then 2 weeks ago I took delivery of a Corolla XSE and was assisted brilliantly by Salesman Jefferson De Jesus he covered everything and again along with Steve made our second Toyota purchase very viable with a good financing rate and extra items for my car. Unfortunately, the temperature in Victoria BC dropped below zero one early morning and driving home from work I experienced an nervous loss of grip in a simple bend. The tyres on the car were Dunlop Sport 5000 and following read ups it seems they were more suited to dry climate with a tendency to be slightly unpredictable in the wet or icy conditions. Toyota use different brand tyres on the same model of car, however those owners with Michelin tyres will benefit from superior grip and less road noise than the Dunlop low profile tyres. The road noise and grip problem especially as we entering November and the fact that other cars might not have this problem being fitted with Michelin tyres, I advised the Service Manager who unfortunately wasn't customer friendly or focused, and yet knowing we had purchased two Toyota Corollas recently was prepared to brush us off, not provide a solution nor compromise and left us dangling with a $1200 solution of buying a new set of tyres. The only assistance came from the Parts Manager who would provide us a $500 trade in on the existing Dunlop Tyres. Clearly upset, angry and frustrated we reached out to Jefferson De Jesus and Steve Fuller, who took our late night emails/texts to hand and the entire situation with Denis Andrews the General Manager. Denis Andrews is clearly customer focused, supported and understood our predicament and authorised a new set of Michelin Pilots AS 3 plus tyres which I driven tonight in cold and wet conditions and stick to the road like glue, so at least my safety concerns have been eliminated along with little road noise. We are extremely thankful to Jefferson De Jesus Salesman, Steve Fuller Sales Manager and Denis Andrews General Manager for providing a solution We will definately be lifetime customers of the Jim Paterson team in Victoria, BC. The only disappointment and attention perhaps needs to be addressed is the somewhat political, indecisive, limited Service Managers that exist at Victoria, otherwise our experience has been very enjoyable. Denis if your listening the Service Dept needs your attention, and to Jefferson and Steve thanks again for all your efforts. AM. More
