I dealt with Yuhito Adachi who made false promises and had minimal knowledge of what he was selling. After agreeing to the terms on the sales floor with Yuhito, the deal changed once we entered the finance office - where Yuhito’s promises did not exist. I confronted Yuhito where he denied everything he said earlier, deeming it as a “miscommunication.” I attempted to speak with the general manager whom was “too busy” to speak with a purchasing customer. I would recommend that you go elsewhere if customer service is important. More

He then stated that his manager confirmed that the car had "steering problems", a clearly unbiased source. I subsequently had my trade-in safetied and appraised by several other dealerships, with no mention of "steering problems" from any of the other sources. Never again. More
AVOID AT ALL COSTS Worst dealership I've ever been to in my life. They wouldn't even let me test drive a WRX for more than 5 minutes, and that was after we asked to test drive it the previous time we went in (flat out refused first time we went) . Being the fool I was I bought it anyways. Shortly after signing papers, I noticed a significant decrease in the quality of customer service and realized they had hidden documentation fees that they do not tell you untill you go into financing. Did I mention it was such a pain to even get a test drive? Upon delivery, car wasn't even done. They claimed I had to make additional appointments to get undercoating and tinting done. Are you kidding me? After setting a separate appointment to take the car tinted, it seemed like there were numerous rock chips in the front bumper and a large rock chip in the windshield (less than 500 km on the odo), which I suspect that the car was taken for a joyride while getting the windows tinted. After discussing with the incompetent manager (Shane was the name I think) about the issue, I was told to come back another day. Apparently Shane did not understand that we already waited 2 weeks after delivery to get this tint job and undercoating done, which all this should have been completed upon delivery. After numerous times we went in to discuss about the issue and being brushed off, we finally we able to see the "top" manager. She was extremely rude acting all high and mighty from the start and was an extreme pain to deal with. After hours of arguing, we finally got a replacement car to replace the one they damaged, which of course will take another 2 months untill it arrived. I've been to numerous dealerships, and this was by far the was the worst dealership experience of my life. I would recommend travelling a little further to Transcona to Jim Pattison Subaru instead, I found that they were much more competent and knowledgeable. This is the last time I step foot in this joke of a establishment ever again. More
You can trust Frontier Subaru! I spoke with Mrs. Thompson (GM) about a couple of issues I had and she was very helpful in resolving them. I would buy from them again. You cannot trust the service department. In May 2016, I brought my 2014 Subaru Forester in to have a front strut checked. Within minutes of leaving the dealership, the vehicle started to make noise. When I arrived home I immediately called the Service Advisor. He told me that when a strut is examined, the gas could leak out of the strut and make noise, but he told me it was safe to drive. When I took the vehicle back a week later for the strut replacement, I was told all the wheels were loose and driving it damaged the wheel bearing. It was an additional cost of $567.00 to repair it. I spoke to Tom, the Acting Service Manager, he was rigid and uncooperative. He made an antagonistic comment saying "you are accusing us of sabotaging your vehicle". I spoke to the General Manager who offered me a free oil change. I won't be taking it in for a free oil change because I do not trust this Service Department. I spoke to the President of the Jim Pattison Group in Vancouver. He was also very rigid and claimed the dealership did not loosen the wheels. He sounded like a bully, and while I was on the phone with him, a woman was on the line saying they support his decision to not reimburse us for the additional cost of the damaged wheel bearing. My vehicle did not make any noise before the initial visit to Frontier Subaru, and I believe the wheels were loosened at the initial inspection of the strut. They have repeatedly denied that the wheels were loosened in their Service Department. The fact that the noise started within minutes of leaving their dealership, and the fact that my wife and I were driving an unsafe vehicle did not matter to this dealership at all. They refused at every level to take any responsibility. This service attitude contrasts widely with other dealerships in Winnipeg who will go out of their way to make sure a customer is happy. Although we like the vehicle, we will not buy our next vehicle from the Jim Pattison Group. More

Suffered from ongoing check engine lights, was repeatedly told that I was driving too hard or not shifting out of first. I have driven a manual transmission car for 16 years. Multiple visits to the service department later, it was time for an oil change. For whatever reason I decided to get the oil changed here. When they lifted the car up they reported a large oil leak. Evidently the seal around the turbo was damaged from the factory. After all this time and multiple visits for check engine lights where I was disrespected and spoken down to lo and behold there was an actual issue with the car. I hate to think what might have happened had I continued to drive the car with the leak. Of course each check engine light was my fault, and when I came into the service department no one took the time to consider there might be an actual problem with the car. I paid for a roof rack to be installed while the oil leak was being repaired. Even that was shoddy as the bars were installed crooked. I took them off and re did the work myself. I asked for the labour put into the rack install to be credited to me for a future oil change and they flat out refused. Will not ever do business with this outfit again and will make sure to dissuade others who are considering Frontier. More

A I am on my third Subaru bought from the team @ Frontier Subaru. These guys are great to work with - I've has one Crosstrek and two Outbacks now. Absolutely no BS - Just quick, prompt courteous help as needed. They have consistently provided me with quick, actual, real world numbers for leases, buyouts, trade-in values etc. There is absolutely none of the usual car sales ' Dog & Pony Show' tactics. Shane, Jason & Antonio are great to do business with. I look forward to working with these guys again on my next purchase. More
