We called the Sales Manager at the same time and he told us to check the gas tank door. We tried and of course it didn’t work. There was a message in the panel telling us to check the air flap. Then, we noticed that the only one from the two windows in the front bumper was opening and closing properly. This makes me believe the car wasn’t properly inspected before they sold to us. Two days after the car was brought to service and we were told that we will should wait for the part to arrive. They did the part and exchange and the engine light was still on. They told us to wait for another two weeks for the second part to arrive. It took 4 weeks for the this new part to arrive and then they changed the part and we thought the problem was solved. Couple of weeks after, same thing happens and car has the engine light on again. It has been 15 days that our has been with the dealer and they still cant fix the issue. I am getting daily updates from Ryan in the service department (Thanks Ryan) but higher management couldn’t care less. I need to point out that the Sales rep/manager that sold the car to us is no longer with the dealership. The finance manager doesn’t return any of my phone calls and the General Manager, Chris , keeps telling me that they are doing everything they can to fix the car. We asked for an appointment to have a discussion in person with the him and he said he wasn’t available. I found interesting that I had to ask to seen him. So far I haven’t see any improvement or solution. Last Friday I informed him again of the on going issue and I was told to contact the Hyundai customer service. When I called, the rep that answered the call said that is nothing they could do to help us and that the dealership hasn’t even open a ticket with them. She was totally unprepared to deal with customers issues and dealership complaints. We bought the car 5 months ago and we have brought the car to service at least 3 times. They keep saying the only thing they can do is to fix the car but in the past 15 days they have showed they dont know how. If you can, avoid this dealership or bring your mechanic before buying even brand new cars from them! More

I have been dealing with Jim Pattison Hyundai for over a decade. This was the 3rd Tucson that I purchased from them. My parents have purchased and traded-in over 6-7 vehicles with them as well. I can't express how happy I am with the vehicle and with the excellent customer service that I have always received. Sam was a breeze to deal with for the financing. He explained everything in detail and listened to what my needs were. Sree called ahead to make an appointment for me and welcomed me back to the Hyundai/Jim Pattison family, that was so nice! I actually wouldn't have my vehicle if it were not for Dishant. In the summer, I was eager to get a hybrid, none were available. I spoke to Dishant about a hybrid on the lot and he said it was already sold. I was so disappointed and went back to looking. A month or two later in early September Dishant reached out asking if I was still interested in a hybrid as they had just a couple coming in, I jumped at the chance and purchased one of these hybrids but I would have missed out if he had not been proactive to remember that I was looking specifically for a Tucson Ultimate hybrid. He has been so helpful with my after-purchase accessories and related matters. I can't say how happy that makes me. I really care about my vehicle and I feel that the Jim Pattison team does as well. I never felt that as soon as the sale was complete they would just treat me as a former customer. They are attentive at this dealership, helpful, kind, and go the distance. I have an older 2007 Santa fe that the alternator went on it. I had brought it into the Dealership five months earlier to have a shield installed over the alternator(part of a recall). Fast forward to two days ago when my alternator took a dump. Quite surprisingly the dealership fixed it free of charge (even though it was a part problem and did not have the oil dripping into the alternator). I was very impressed by that and have no hesitation recommending this dealership. Bravo. More
