His friendliness and professionalism keeps me coming back cuz eventually, I'll buy from him again. The back office...well, that's why the rating for the dealership isn't 5 stars. A good service experience - a couple of things overlooked I brought my 2013 F-150 to Jim Keay for a booked appointment with the following requests, which I inserted in the envelope when I dropped the truck of I brought my 2013 F-150 to Jim Keay for a booked appointment with the following requests, which I inserted in the envelope when I dropped the truck off. • Oil and filter (please use synthetic oil and please prime oil filter) • Winter tire installation (please apply torque in 6-bolt pattern and in thirds) • Diagnose rattle underneath truck • Diagnose driver’s side rear door issue (electronic locks not working) I got a call from Craig early in the morning, telling me they’d found and fixed the rattle (an exhaust clamp) and were about to begin diagnosing the door issue. He also told me the rear brake pads and rotors needed replacement. I heard from Craig a short time later. The issue with the rear door was due to a wiring harness failure; they ordered a new one and it would be in the next day. I told Craig to go ahead with the rear brakes, which would also be done the next day, and in the morning of the second day I got a call that the truck was ready. I went in and picked it up. Afterwards I took a minute to review the invoice. I found: • No sign that they had read the notice I had attached • No mention that they had used the proper torquing method, so now I'll have to check myself • No mention of priming the oil filter when it was changed - nothing to be done about that now Next time I will make a point of letting the booking advisor know that I will include specific instructions separately. These are the reasons that the overall rating is four stars instead of five. More
