The service centre was a zoo; our salesperson Sarah told us we'd be talking to Craig after he dealt with his current customer. It took him ten minutes to finish with her, but when Craig came back into the service area he was approached by another customer who had just entered, and dealt with him before us. 1635 Served at last. I had explained the reason for the visit to Matt, the service manager. And was in the process of explaining it again to Craig when Matt came over. After that, things moved quickly and I was promised a call tomorrow. Sarah told us the service department is always like that at that time of day. 2015-06-25 1236 Craig called to let me know that Matt is looking at the truck personally and that they will be in touch when more is known. 1329 Craig tells me that the truck has issued OBD codes that are unfamiliar to them; Matt is talking to Ford engineering but suspects that the issue is indeed the driver's side blend door actuator. 1630 Picked up truck. Matt still waiting to hear back from Ford engineering; when they do they will let us know. They will order the parts and when in we will schedule a return visit. If it is the blend door or actuator it will require removal of the dash (7h). All work is covered under warranty. 2015-06-26 0841 Craig called; Ford has responded and the fault is with the driver's side blend door actuator. The part has been ordered and will arrive 2006-06-30 (Tuesday). Service appointment booked with Jeannette James; Craig told us that there would be a one day turnaround. We would drop the truck off Monday evening and they would call us on Tuesday when it's ready. 2015-06-29 1510 Dropped truck off. Nobody in service area. Had to wander around, spotted Craig, Matt and other staff talking in another room. Gestured for attention, Craig came out. Dropped off. 2015-06-30 1000 Craig called, said truck won't be ready today. Expressed displeasure, asked why he was starting work so late, no excuse. Closed tomorrow (Canada Day), promised Thursday. Told my wife, who was very upset; she called and spoke to Craig instead; he had no recollection of promising the truck in one day. Dawn arranged: (a) to collect truck with work undone (we had need for it for camping that weekend) (b) I would return with truck Jul 13 to leave for 2 days if necessary (c) I would be provided with a courtesy loaner car 2015-07-13 0730 Dropped off truck, picked up courtesy car. Quick and efficient. 1415 Update from Craig; work going well, will call back tomorrow with pickup time 2015-07-16 1200 Craig called to let me know truck would be ready around 1630 1500 Craig called; truck ready. 1600 Collected truck. Quick and efficient, and problem appears to be fixed. 2015-07-19 After several days of use, problem appears to be fixed. SUMMARY I think the service centre needs to be more organized in dealing with incoming customers; for the most point it's a matter of wandering around until you find the person you want. I also think that the forecast turnaround needs to be realistic. I would much rather be told that you need the vehicle for two days and pick it up at the agreed time than to find out you did you didn't estimate enough time. More

We came in knowing exactly what we wanted, and we were lucky to get Brian as a sales representative. He showed us two vehicles that matched exactly what we were looking for, and we ended up choosing a model we know we will enjoy for years to come. He was easy to deal with and was personable and helpful. We got a fair trade for our vehicle and the dealership took care of all the details, including tinting after purchase. We would definitely recommend Jim Keay and would return in the future. More

The vehicle has an air defl Purchased a used 2013 Ford Edge about a month ago and that experience was like any other car purchase i.e. semi-pleasant. The vehicle has an air deflector and last week I noticed that a damper (rubber thing on top of the hood) was missing. I also took out the cabin air filter and it had obviously never been replaced. Took the car to the service department today and was taken to the parts department by someone from service. The Parts guy said lots of people are asking for this damper but he could only sell me the full kit i.e. deflector and parts for $120. He sais another option would be for me to buy 50 of those rubber things as they are available to him in pack of 50. I answered that the dealer should buy a pack since lots of people are apparently asking for one. Answer was " it is not my decision to make". I suggested he should recommend something like this to his manager and got no answer. Second, I asked the service representative why the cabin air filter had not been replaced when they did an oil change and he said this is not part of the work done in preparing a used car. Silly me, I had assumed it would be. He did not offer to replace it and I told him politely that this was my first and last visit to Jim Keay Ford Lincoln. More

An excellent experience A recent search for a very specific model of used Ford F-150 and recommendation from a friend brought us to Sarah Major at Jim Keay. Sarah is knowledg A recent search for a very specific model of used Ford F-150 and recommendation from a friend brought us to Sarah Major at Jim Keay. Sarah is knowledgeable, polite, approachable and direct - just the kind of person from whom we prefer to buy a vehicle. We test drove a used vehicle from their inventory; during the drive Sarah mentioned that the AC didn't seem to be blowing cold enough, and that it would be checked as part of the pre-delivery service. We also expressed an interest in upgrading the side mirrors to towing mirrors. We liked the truck and placed a deposit so we could think about it overnight. I called Sarah the next day to let her know we wanted to proceed with the sale, and asked when it might be ready to bring home.and she told me it might be ready on Friday, but Monday was more likely. Hoping for the latter, expecting the former... we did find out on Thursday that Monday was the day. Unfortunately, we learned on Monday that a needed part for a warranty air condition repair was not going to be available until Tuesday, and on Tuesday we learned that the length of the repair meant that the truck would not be ready until Wednesday. Sarah apologized profusely, telling us the she would rather delay delivery than supply an incomplete vehicle with a need to return for service. As unhappy as we were with the delay, we had to agree. In the meantime Sarah had worked with the parts department to reduce the cost of the tow mirrors, and when we found out that two of the noisy stock tires had to be replaced for safety, she worked with us to get four tires of choice at a greatly reduced cost. On Wednesday Sarah delivered the truck to us at home. We are very please with the vehicle and the sales experience overall, and would not hesitate to recommend Sarah and her team. Thanks Sarah! More

Great Experience! I didn't like the vehicle I had, and was told that the Ford Focus was a good way to go. My daughter bought a car from Jim Keay a few years ago and had I didn't like the vehicle I had, and was told that the Ford Focus was a good way to go. My daughter bought a car from Jim Keay a few years ago and had a great experience, so that's where I started. I was introduced to Carmelo Vita & the process began. Being an indecisive person, it took me 2 weeks to commit. In that time period I never once felt pressured to buy the car. Mr. Vita was more then patient with me, and I'm so happy he was as I am now a proud owner of a 2015 Ford Focus, with no second thoughts. He was honest and sincere and had amazing customer service skills. He was always going out of his way to satisfy us, even going out in the pouring rain to show us exactly what the color of white our SUV would look like.
