I purchased 2 vehicles here and would seriously consider moving my business elsewhere in the future. The purchasing of the vehicles was ok , the first problem with warranty and they dropped the ball big tim moving my business elsewhere in the future. The purchasing of the vehicles was ok , the first problem with warranty and they dropped the ball big time!. Totally unacceptable. First the fact they were trying to warn me that GM may not warranty a car that had 32,000km on it and an extended warranty of 160,000km or 5 years. Took them 5 weeks , I asked for a service loaner , was told none were available at that time but would get me one as soon as they could, so needless to say NO loaner. The fact that they also were making stuff up as to what my responsibility was to service my vehicle , tried telling me I didn't do enough oil changes, it's a camaro ss 1Le uses FULLY synthetic oil and apparently because my car parks for the winter (even though I start it up every chinook).that my oil breaks down apparently, even though full synthetic has a 8 to 10 year shelf life and on average gives 10,000km to 15,000km oil before oil change is needed, then tell you you need to change oil every year no matter what. Which would be more inline with regular petroleum products which still sounds wrong considering oil doesn't break down period hence the reason why we are not putting it in landfills. And have to drop them off at used oil containers at various businesses.after that fight I was told they were diagnosing the problem ...no oil pressure was the reason I brought it in for. I checked oil It was good , I then replaced the oil sending switch/sensor, still didn't fix the problem a TSB (technical Service Bulletin) showed up with the code reader, oil pick up tube falls out of GMs because of a design flaw in the oil pump where the oil pickup tube is only pressure fitted in, rather then say a threaded or welded design. It affects SO many models from 2014ish to 2019. So when I called to drop off my car I mentioned it and was told by the girl that makes the appointments , I was told my car was not affected by that TSB again a 2017 camaro ss 1LE, 6.2L. I told the service advisor what I did above and that it will be the oil pickup tube almost for certain. Still took them over a week to diagnose .....yup you guessed it oil pump failure.like what else could it possibly be?. Of course that means metal shavings and oil pick up parts in my oil pan. Which means new crankshaft and main bearings.i get a message I need those parts and there was NO ETA at all could be months before we could see them ,I asked how was that even possible. I was told there is raw material shortage and is why.So facetiously I then said interesting , is GM still making cars? Where are they getting those crankshafts from? Radio silence after that. I said I will call GM canada and get some parts expedited, suddenly they found the parts.and was a week away. Far cry from NO eta or months.Took another 3 weeks with several finishing dates promised never met. The last problem popped up saying they didn't have a new A/C belt for it again waiting for a simple part that should be stocked.was then told the dealership belt didn't fit and neither did the aftermarket belt which was the same size.. i laughed at the service advisor.I was then accused of messing with my vehicle to cause this issue. I told them that car is stock not even as much as a new air intake on it , and that I drove it off of THEIR showroom floor with literally 17km on the odometer. GM did in the end warranty the issue fully which is about the only good sentence I can put into this review... More
