My check in was processed quickly and efficiently; it included warranty work and tire swap. Mike took plenty of time to understand my concerns and ensured that everything was handled well. My vehicle was returned clean and swapped out tires wrapped and stacked in the hatch. Kudos to Mike and the Service team for another exceptional job. More

Took it in (took 3 appointments for them to actually look at it - always brought it in when had something else to do - ie. oil change, windshield replacement, but they always ignored looking at the rust). When they finally did, stated it was from shoddy repair done to the vehicle therefore it wasn't covered by warranty. We purchased the vehicle brand new from them and have not had any repair work done to the vehicle. We took it in to Southgate Allmakes Bodyshop and they indicated it was in fact due to a "spot repair" which is common when vehicles get damaged in freight. Jack Carter states that because they have no record of the repairs (dealerships will not accept a vehicle until the repairs have been completed), it is not their problem and too bad so sad. The cost to fix the vehicle was approx. $750 but Jack Carter, nor GM Canada are willing to even address it. Would never recommend this dealership, nor will we ever do business there again! Inspect any new vehicle extremely carefully as it may be repaired already and they won't stand behind their vehicles! More
Never been more disgusted by a business If you are young woman in Calgary and would like to be talked down to in a disrespectful manner, be stranded in a city where you don’t know anyone, be If you are young woman in Calgary and would like to be talked down to in a disrespectful manner, be stranded in a city where you don’t know anyone, be late for work, miss out of pay from being late to work, anger clients because you have to cancel scheduled meetings, not have your car actually fixed and have not a single person apologize for the inconvenience they have caused you, then Jack Carter Chevrolet is for you. The service I received at Jack Carters Chevrolet was the most horrendous service I have ever received. I booked my 1 year old car in warranty work and parts. When I booked my car in a week early I had double checked that I would be receiving a loaner car for the time my car was in the shop. I dropped off my car the night before it was booked in and was told there wasn't a loaner currently available but would be available in a few hours. They arranged for a the “service shuttle” to take me home with the promise that a loaner would be dropped off later. The service shuttle was some guy driving me home in his personal vehicle, which was uncomfortable enough without the personal questions he kept asking. When no car was dropped off later that night I called in to see what was happened. I was told that everything was closed and I was out of luck and that NO ONE would ever have told me that a car would be arranged later in the day for me. The helpful suggestion that I received from the night manager was to take the bus to work the next day. It was only when I suggested that the company should pay for a taxi to drive me to work the next day did he agree to that. The taxi arrived late, got me to work 45 minutes late and then I was left stranded at work without a way to make my meetings for the day which means I had to cancel on clients. I called first thing in the morning to see when I would receive a loaner for the day or when my car would be ready for pick up, luckily my car was done and I could pick it up at the end of the day, of course they had to arrange for someone to pick me up early from work. I tried to discuss what had happened with the service manager on pick up of my vehicle and was promptly given the “you have you car now, leave.” When I was in the dealership I was spoken down to by the management as soon as they saw me, which I can only assume is because they didn't feel that they had to treat a woman in her early twenties with any semblance of respect. To cap it off the problem that I brought my car in for didn't get fixed and they missed the hole in my transmission. I spent a large chunk of money to purchase a brand new car and I expect the service that is guaranteed by that purchase which I certainly did not receive from this dealership. This morning I called my regular dealer in Edmonton, asked them to book my car in to look at the things that weren't fix and to double check everything that was replaced because I don’t trust anything Jack Carter did. They have already called back to say they have me booked in, they have confirmed with rental company that I will be receiving a car for the week so I can come back down to Calgary for work and they are sorry I had such a horrible time with another dealership. The only reason I didn't take my car to them in the first place is when they heard what was happening with my car they recommended I don’t make the drive north and to find a dealership in Calgary. Since 2010 we have bought 4 vehicles in our house (2 SRX, 1 Denali, and 1 Corvette), plus other members of our family including ones as far as Manitoba have bought many vehicles off Carter's. They always see 1 Denali, and 1 Corvette), plus other members of our family including ones as far as Manitoba have bought many vehicles off Carter's. They always seem to have the right vehicle in stock or they can get it for you in a few days. Richard Ellenthorpe has probably sold 30 vehicles to my family and friends. More
