Excellent First Time Buyer Experince I am in my 20's buying a brand new, factory ordered, 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T. I have never purchased a new vehicle before. Jay Jay R. and Ziad S. made it so painless and so forgiving to purchase the vehicle with a plan and rate that fits; Even though I was indecisive at times. They recommend services that they themselves would have used if they owned the vehicle and even advised against certain packages that were not needed. The warranties they offer are outstanding that driving a 400~ HP machine isn't so intimidating anymore. I could have been easily swayed to buy something off of the lot, but they didn't even push that option. They respected my needs and interests. They just made things happen without any issues. Oh, and did I mention the trade in? Holy cow, they gave me such a fair value that I didn't even bother to look around. For this I am very thankful that I took an extra 25 minutes to travel to this dealership, and to meet especially these professional and "human" salesmen. I think the best part of the experience is that the gentlemen I mentioned earlier were just as excited as I was to purchase the car, along with the fact that everything was done just right. I really did enjoy buying a vehicle that was factory ordered, regardless of the wait. Poor administrative follow thru, but satisfied in the end. Initial purchase of a used vehicle fine, we had a verbal agreement to plate the vehicle for one full year as I was a month from my birthday. Upon arriving home I realized this was not the case and called the dealership and spoke to the used car sales manager, a Mr. Gauthier. He remembered our agreement and said I should photocopy my receipt for my new sticker and fax it to him for a paper trail and he would forward me a cheque. I did this and did not receive the cheque so I called to speak with him only to find he was no longer with the dealership. I spoke to Alex Raphael who had replaced him and he assured me he would send the cheque right away. After waiting a reasonable time I called him again as I had received nothing, again he assured me he would speak with the accounting department and send the funds. That was more than two weeks ago and I have still received nothing. It was not a great deal of money but I can only assume they have no intention of ever sending me a cheque. Again not a great deal of money but it was their only concession on the deal as I paid the full asking price thinking it was reasonable. No complaints on the initial deal or the vehicle but obviously they are not to be trusted once they have their money. Upon posting the above review on July 29/2015 I received a apologetic call from the dealership who said they would search for the cheque to see if it had been cashed and get back to me. The following day they called again to apologize and to say the cheque had been found at the front desk in sales. Somebody thought I was picking it up which was never the case, again it was promised that it would be put in the mail right away. On August 6th. I received the cheque in the mail and it was dated July 10th. Under the circumstances I feel I was justified in my opinion after waiting so long and being promised frequently that I would receive the cheque right away. As it turned out every thing is fine and I retract my previous review. I would deal with this dealership again and would recommend it to others. This ability to write reviews has some weight after all. More
