Mike in Sales was fantastic. Very attentive and quick to answer all of my questions and found me exactly what I wanted. My only issue was that I had purchased my Equinox from a Very attentive and quick to answer all of my questions and found me exactly what I wanted. My only issue was that I had purchased my Equinox from a distance approximately 5 weeks before I arrived in town to pick it up. When I arrived on the day I said I would the vehicle had to be sent out to be detailed which meant I sat around waiting for a fair amnt of time. Then I discovered, the day before I was leaving town again, that the block heater had not been installed which was at the top of the priority list I had given, given I live in northern BC. I was able to bring it in to my local dealership but not w/out a lot of back and forth about who was going to pay for it. Island GM let me know immediately that I could pay then send them the invoice to be reimbursed but the local dealership quoted me $350 plus tax which is a hefty amnt to have to pay out on a brand new vehicle. IGM did end up calling the local dealer for me and made arrangements to pay it directly so that was a huge bonus but definitely a hassle to get to that point. The folks I dealt with at IGM were great, don't get me wrong. I just think both of these things could have been done before I arrived and made it a better overall customer experience. I do have huge appreciation for Mike and Mike (there are 2 separate Mike's) and all they did to support and help resolve the two relatively minor issues that I experienced. More
