Upon purchasing a used vehicle, the sales staff was professional and curteous (the kind one would expect from a used car salesperson). Some minor work needed to be done on the front bumper in order fo professional and curteous (the kind one would expect from a used car salesperson). Some minor work needed to be done on the front bumper in order for the deal to go through- written on the bill of sale and everything. The vehicle was taken home based on the promise that the front bumper work would be done at a later date. The salesperson and the person writing up the bill of sale reassured me that the work to be done would be written on the bill of sale- and it was. A few weeks later when I called to speak with the manager to arrange a suitable date to have the work done, I was yelled at because the dealership would not be responsible for doing the work... I was told that although it was written "Fix front bumper" on the bill of sale, "it did not say WHO was going to fix the front bumper." (I was supposed to know it meant "When you take your vehicle home, make sure you fix the front bumper.") After I died of laughter, I'm taking it to small claims court. In the final analysis, save yourself some time and headache, don't deal with this dealership. From the reviews posted, it's unfortunate these guys are still around. More
I had the worst experience ever. Not just the worst experience with a dealership, the worst business transaction ever. Firstly told the salesman that I wanted a great deal, but I also wanted legendary experience with a dealership, the worst business transaction ever. Firstly told the salesman that I wanted a great deal, but I also wanted legendary service. I dont mind paying 30$ extra a month for great service. So I gave them a deposit of 500$ on Aug 15th, 2011 for a silver AWD 2012 Tuscon. They told me the car was ordered and would take 3 weeks or so. After a couple of weeks, we applied for financing. The system was down and Moe told me he would call me when it was approved. No call. Called him, and he assured me everything was good. later that week, we decided that another colour would be okay and maybe we would get the car faster. I Called on the Friday... voicemail says "will call you back before the end of the day". No return call. I drove passed the dealership on the monday decided to drop in and see if he was there. Sure enough he was and texting on his phone. He told me he didnt get a voicemail (pretty much called me a liar, without saying it) I explained that we didnt care about the colour anymore, and he told me that the car was ordered.. and so on. I got a call from the salesman a week and a half later. He left a message, and I called him back the next day. As he answered the phone, he asked if he could call me RIGHT back. No call. I Called on the monday after and told them I would be coming in to get my $500 back. At the dealership on the Wednesday they tried to salvage the deal, but I told them I didnt sign a Purchase agreement, or even sign a credit application so I wanted my deposit back. The salesman said "if you didnt sign a purchase agreement we wouldnt have been able to order the car". Basically telling me I was a liar again. Again, worst business experience EVER. I am also considering getting them to correct my credit bureau because I never signed a credit application, which is a big no no. More
On 22/Aug, me and my wife came to Hyundai on Hunt Club and decided to take a look on the brand new 2012 Tucson. A sales person called Davin introduced the new 2012 Tucson to us. We had a test drive and ma and decided to take a look on the brand new 2012 Tucson. A sales person called Davin introduced the new 2012 Tucson to us. We had a test drive and made a cash deal with Darvin at $35,000 (2012 Tucson Limited version) with 750L free gas coupon within 45 minutes. As you can see we’re serious buyer with trust. Davin then asked us to choose a color of our new vehicle and we chose red, diamond silver and blue. Couple minutes later, Davin came back from the office and said there is a new car coming in on 29/Aug but the color is Black. He said if we can accept that, we can pick up the car on 29/Aug for sure. Although Black is not our favorite but because we really need a car, so we accepted the deal. Before we put down the deposit, I asked Davin one more time to confirm the delivery day and he said late august for sure, so we signed the contract and back home with a happy face. Everything seems fine. On 26/Aug, I called Davin to double confirm the pickup date and want to get the VIN# of my new car to get a more accurate quote on insurance. Davin said he doesn’t have the Vin# but the car will be arrived in late August for sure. On 29/Aug, I called Davin again and this time he said still need couple days and also he doesn’t have the Vin#. On 31/Aug, we felt something wrong and we went to Hyundai on Hunt Club and want to talk to his manager and understand what is going on to our car. We talked to Business Manager Moe Sakka, he checked his computer and he said the car is not here and he doesn’t know where it is. He told us never trust a sales person because they always lie to customer. (I can’t believe he said something like that to me. Is that the way your employee pushing all the responsibility to someone else and try to get out of trouble?) Of course we’re angry and he said all he can do is to transfer us to Sales Manager and discuss the integrity of Darvin and follow the car issue. I forgot the name of the sales manager we talked to, he told me the same story that he cannot find the car and promised to call us back on next day morning. On 1/Sept, Davin called me and said the car will be arrived on next day (2/Sept), he said he’ll call us again on 2/Sept and get the VIN# for us. Also we can pick it up on same day. On 2/Sept morning, Davin called and gave us the VIN# of my vehicle. I told him I need the car today and he said he’ll talk to the Business Manager Moe Sakka and it shouldn’t be a problem. After we got the VIN#, we called our insurance agent and set up insurance policy for the car. During the process, our agent found out that Moe made a big mistake on our name on the Sales and Purchase. The name should be match with our driver license and the insurance policy. So we called Moe and he said he need at least one hour to find our file and will call us back. After waiting two hours at home, we decided to go to office and talk to Moe Sakka directly. He seems don’t know how to use his computer and need us to help him to fix our name printing problem. (That’s really PROFESSIONAL!) After that, we want to see our car but Moe Sakka said the car is not here yet, he said we cannot pick it up today. He explained that license plate office closed on sat, sun and public holiday, so HOPEFULLY we can pick up our car on 6/Sept. Once again he told us never trust a sales person in Hyundai because they always don’t know what they’re talking about and keep lying to customer. (For my experience, never trust anyone in Hyundai.) On 6/Sept, we went to the office at 9:15am and want to take a look on our new car. But Moe Sakka said the car is still not ready yet and need to wait for the sales person Davin. He’ll be in office at 2:00pm. I really mad on this, why they keep lying to me and I can’t even see my car that I purchased? That’s really ridiculous and we want to talk to their Manager and complained about my case. We talked to their General Sales Manager Eli Nassrallah and told him the whole story. He told us there was a strike in Vancouver and nothing wrong with his staff. His employee lied to us seems fine to him and said if we want to cancel the deal, is OK for him because he said he made very little money on our deal and don’t really care we cancel the deal or not! I can’t believe a General Sales Manager will say something like this to his customer and this really make your car brand a very negative image to your customer. We finally cancelled the deal. We insisted Eli Nassrallah to sign on the back of our deposit receipt and promise to return our deposit back within a reasonable time. I really lack of trust on anyone in Hyundai on Hunt Club. Today is 16/9 and we still not receive my refund cheque. They promised that we'll get it on 12/9 and once again... NEVER TRUST ANYONE IN HYUNDAI ON HUNT CLUB. More
