I was so convinced I did not buy the extended warranty. Big mistake. 2 months later the car completely broke down and I took it to another Honda dealership where they reviewed the car and found out the car was in such bad shape that it needs a new top half of the engine. Cost more than half of the car's worth in repairs. I called the honda dealership in Thornhill and the same sales agent manager was rude, aggressive and said it doesn't matter they sold me a lemon it was my problem and my belief in them was a judgement call based on how friendly, professional and convincing they were. He also told me I should get a lawyer. I assume they do this to a lot of people so they were very well versed in treating a previous customer with such hostility. My options is to get a lawyer and find other people who were abused by these people to raise awareness to avoid this dealership. Not a decent way to make money. More
I have a very horrible experience with Honda Thornhill at Steeles avenue yesterday Tuesday 17th December 2024. The story started on Saturday 14th Dec when my Honda Civic 2022 broke down around 1pm while Steeles avenue yesterday Tuesday 17th December 2024. The story started on Saturday 14th Dec when my Honda Civic 2022 broke down around 1pm while driving at the intersection (York Mills & Bayview). I called Honda Roadside assistance and they arranged a towing vehicle. The towing vehicle never showed up until 6pm. On Monday 16th Dec, I called Honda Thornhill at exactly 11am to ask about the update of my car, they said they never received the car that I should call roadside assistance or the towing company where they dropped it. I called the Roadside assistance and they put me on hold to ask the towing company where the car was dropped. The towing company told them it was dropped at Honda Thornhill service gate. I called Honda Thornhill back to inform them, they said they will search and call me back in 1hour. I waited and called back after 1hr30mins and they said they never received the car. To cut this long story short, I called honda Thornhill about 10 different times and also called Honda roadside assistance about 5times on Monday for the whereabout of car. Just imagine the mental stress I was going through during this time. At about 4;30pm when I called again, I was told they just found the car in the garage but they don’t have the key. This is a long unpleasant scenario, but to cut it short., i called Honda Thornhill the next day - Tuesday 17th Dec for update at 10am, but they said they don’t still have the key. Because of that, I immediately leave my work and go there myself. When I got there, I met one of the service advisor and he was telling me to be calm and think of where the key could be…I became angry and later, one of their manager called “MARLON LOPEZ” invited me to his office. I sat with him and they later brought the key. They said it was a mixed up and they just found the key. They said they are currently diagnosing my car and I should be patient. He kept walking in and out. Then after about 1hr in his office, he walked inside with 2police men, and the policemen said that I was trespassing. I tried to explain but he said Marlon Lopez said I bought the car from Toronto Honda, so I should call roadservice assistance to tow my vehicle back there. For the record, I bought this car in May 2024 from Toronto Honda with extended warranty and all categories of coverage/protections. The policemen even threaten to handcuff me if I don’t leave immediately. I was harrsassed for being a customer of honda. I was embarrassed because a 2022 car I bought with all warranties broke down while driving in the middle of the road. Honda Thornhill and Marlon Lopez could not show professionalism of the whereabout of my car for days and keys, yet I was the customer that suffer for their inefficiencies. I swear, this is the most horrible experience of my life from Honda Thornhill. I paid for disgrace with my money because I patronized Honda. I Will Never Recommend “HONDA THORNHILL” to my enemies, talkless of my friend! I still feel cheated and abused right now. Honda Thornhill and Marlon Lopez could not do their job to properly keep record/track of my car in their custody since Saturday and I am the customer that still suffer police harassment. This is the height of Zero Customer relation. Zero Empathy. Zero Professionalism. Wrong and Abuse of Office with the use of uniform men. I am so sad and pained! I won’t be surprise if you still come and harass me with my review, because you already harassed me at your office. Please don’t patronize Honda Thornhill and learn from my horrible experience! More
I feel compelled to share my experience at Honda of Thornhill which unfortunately fell far below expectations. Upon our arrival, it quickly became evident that professionalism was not a priority fo Thornhill which unfortunately fell far below expectations. Upon our arrival, it quickly became evident that professionalism was not a priority for our salesman. Amir was preoccupied with texting throughout our visit, leaving us feeling overlooked and unimportant. This lack of engagement was not only frustrating but also indicative of poor customer service. Additionally, his demeanor was quite off-putting; we found him to be rude and dismissive. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was his repeated, inappropriate glances at my wife, which we found unsettling. To top it off, the hickeys on his neck were hard to ignore and certainly did not project a professional image. In summary, our experience at Honda of Thornhill was disappointing, and I cannot recommend this dealership based on the service we encountered. A respectful and professional attitude is essential in any customer-facing role, and sadly, that was missing during our visit. More

I was recommended this dealership by my Brother in Law, who was friends with a Sales Manager there. I always felt that communication is one of the cornerstones to providing a great customer service experience. After all, I myself have been in customer service roles over 20+ years. For almost the last 2 years, I have been waiting for updates and general communication from my “sales person”, Bruce Shalviri regarding a Civic Type R I put a deposit in for. After the first year of no responses to my calls and voicemails (I tried to be respectful of the fact that I’m not his only customer, so I should expect him to be reasonable busy), my partner and I decided to pay him a visit and asked specifically if he can tell me what place I am in the line, so that I can make the decision to stay and/or look at other vehicles. After being fed a line that I would be “next”, I waited another 9 months. During this time, the dealership received 2 Civic Type Rs but I didn’t receive a call for either. While I was waiting, I decided to put a deposit on an Integra Type S at another dealership, which were far and away more desirable to work with. It took unfortunately, my brother in law to step in to get the information I requested almost a year ago. Needless to say, I’m not getting a Type R from this dealership and they wasted my time and opportunities securing another car. Good fortune comes to those who wait however, as I managed to find and purchase an available Type R elsewhere. Needless to say, my dealership experience at Thornhill Honda is the worst I’ve ever had. While there may be some good people working there, I will never recommend anyone go there, and will let my family, friends, and the Honda enthusiast community know to avoid them like the plague. More

I brought my Civic into Sisley Honda for a service recall. I was on time and so were they. Lucas my service advisor was professional and fun to deal with. In June 2023 I visited the Acura dealer with the intention of exchanging my Acura MDX for an RDX. Initially, I was assisted by a representative named John, who seemed friendly and eager to help. How intention of exchanging my Acura MDX for an RDX. Initially, I was assisted by a representative named John, who seemed friendly and eager to help. However, things took a turn for the worse when we discovered that the demo vehicle we were shown had significantly more mileage (about 9000) than initially stated. Though John agreed to cover the first maintenance due to the higher mileage on the vehicle, when I went for the first service in January I was presented with a bill of around $500. When I raised the issue of the promised free service, I was met with a dismissive attitude and was forced to chase down John at the dealership. His demeanor completely changed, and his interaction was extremely rude and demeaning. He removed $200 of the cost which according to him in June would’ve been the total cost of the service. In addition to that few months ago we were stopped by cops due to an error in our registration which was again done by this dealership. This experience was disappointing and left me with the impression that customer care and honesty are not priorities at this dealership. In contrast, I have had positive experiences with Honda Acura Downtown and Honda Acura Vaughan, where professionalism and courteous staff are the norms. I will not be returning to this dealership and would advise others to approach with caution, especially when dealing with John, who is now a manager at the dealership. More
