As a courtesy, every vehicle we have ever owned whether it was new or used, under warranty or not, a Toyota or Honda product has always been returned washed and cleaned by all of the dealerships that hav it was new or used, under warranty or not, a Toyota or Honda product has always been returned washed and cleaned by all of the dealerships that have ever serviced our vehicles. This inexpensive, quick and simple gesture; that may take only 10 minutes to complete, goes a long way to demonstrate that you are invested in quality customer care! This act of kindness can also help with the retention of your existing customers and recruitment of new customers. It will motivate customers to return to that particular dealership because it shows that they are customer centric and are invested in the customer -dealership relationship. It shows that the customer is paramount in all that they do! As customers, we invest a lot of money into the maintenance of our vehicles. This is why I was deeply disappointed to pick up my vehicle today from the High River Toyota dealership. A courtesy that use to be extended to me when my vehicle was under warranty wherein the outside of my vehicle was washed was not honored today now that my vehicle is off warranty as of this month. It may be something that is not of any consequence to you High River Toyota - Service dept. but to me - it demonstrates to me that you no longer value me as a customer now that my vehicle is no longer under warranty. It also demonstrates to me if something as simple as taking 10 Minutes to wash my vehicle is not important ; my overall vehicle and its maintenance may not be really important to you either. I purchased brand new Highlander Platinum from High River Toyota on July 16, 2022. The dealership was extremely rude. As part of the purchase agreement (that included the costs for all the extra packages that were sold as mandatory if I wanted the only vehicle in their showroom), High River Toyota agreed to replacing brakes on my Camry. When the Highlander was picked up, the car was not in a showroom clean condition. Further, there were stains inside the car, which the dealership has not cared to address. Toyota also has not cared to follow up since. I thought my surprises and bad experience was over. However, when they were going to replace the brakes, they asked me to pay for anything over $600, which was not agreed. Very poor service and very poor experience. I had dealt with Heninger for my Camry purchase, and I would give Heninger 5 stars and Zero to High River Toyota More

Said they couldn't remove any because they were already ordered even though the bulk of them were service and insurance packages. Flat out told us that they aren't moving enough vehicles to make a profit these days so the $1000 tire insurance package is mandatory so they can make some money back. Tried to force us to take financing we didn't want or need. "You can take it just for 6 months even if you want." Sales manager was super condescending and patronizing. We were ready to buy, but after that experience called it off and will purchase elsewhere. More

We walked away because they wouldn't accept a cash deal. They kept trying to force us to buy protection and maintenance packages in order to close the deal. Their first "requirement" was that we finance the vehicle. We refused because we are in a position to pay cash. Lost sale for them! More
Took and unauthorized a mount of money as a deposit. I agreed to $500 to hold a vehicle, they took a $2500 deposit despite me putting in writing that I only want to put $500 deposit. We desperately needed a vehicle after our previous car was written off. We were running out of time and places to find what we wanted. We’d visited quite a number of dealers in Calgary and not only couldn was written off. We were running out of time and places to find what we wanted. We’d visited quite a number of dealers in Calgary and not only couldn't find what we were looking for, we couldn’t find ANY vehicles. We were rushed. So, we got on the phone and one of our calls was to High River Toyota. I immediately spoke to Michelle, no waiting and it felt like I was speaking to an old friend. She was welcoming, friendly, very helpful right from the beginning and above all knowledgeable about their products. It certainly didn’t feel like a sales call. They had the vehicle we were looking for too! A visit to the dealer followed, upon which a terrific visit with Michelle was about getting to know us, our needs and wants and how they could help. I could go on and on and on. All measures of service excellence and supporting a customer were met and surpassed! It was a real breath of fresh air and very much worth a short drive. Reinforced my strong support for and belief in small business, especially outside the City. We are really, really happy with our new vehicle and with how we bought it. Michelle, Jerry and High River Toyota were second to none! More
