I purchased a New Kia 28 Nov 2011. The Harris I purchased a New Kia 28 Nov 2011. The Harris Dealership initially portrayed a credible, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful atmosphere. The vehicl I purchased a New Kia 28 Nov 2011. The Harris Dealership initially portrayed a credible, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful atmosphere. The vehicle I purchased had to come from another dealership on the mainland so naturally it took a while to have it delivered. Upon accepting the vehicle the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) checklist was not provided. Reason being the previous dealer had completed the inspection but did not include paperwork with delivery. Harris KIA informed me they had contacted the other dealer and a copy of the inspection sheet would be forthcoming. To date 15 Jan 2012, I have not received the PDI checklist from the Harris dealer. I understand the PDI is in fact part of the $399.00 Documentation / Administration service and the Kia delivery sheet should reflect the date completed; it does not. Given the credible persona of the dealership and in good faith, I foolishly signed the New Delivery Checklist as acknowledgement that I have read, received all and understood the contents of the delivery check list package etc. This may be a moot point to some but it is important to me. A reputable dealer would not let this or any other outstanding responsibility go unattended and therefore I cannot provide this dealership full marks in the Dealer Rater forum. More
It's my first time dealing with a Kia Dealership and I must say these people made me feel very comfortable and like I meant something. Roy Berentsen was very friendly but I found gave us very little for our trade-in and then priced our trade-in on the lot for 2.5 times more than what we received for it. Considering this was our third vehicle from Harris Kia, I was very disappointed. The front-line staff is always very helpful and friendly as is the Service department. More
