Newly arrived from the UK and rather overwhelmed at number of dealerships along the Highway, we went to Harris Kia as we had seen a used car on their website that we wanted to test drive. Rachel came out and introduced herself as we were looking around and took us for a test drive. Having found out a bit about our needs etc she suggested that a new car may well fit our requirements better especially with 0% finance. She showed us a 2013 Sorento which we fell in love with but decided to go home and do a bit more research on Internet. We found it was available with beige leather ( one in showroom was black) and rang her the next day to see if she could get one in beige with a sunroof. She said she would find out and rang back very quickly to tell us they had that exact car in their compound!! RJ sorted out the finance, which was not easy being new to the country but he said right from the start that " he would make it work" for us. We have never come across such helpful staff in a car dealership, always very pushy in the UK which tends to make you want to walk away. Rachel was very friendly and extremely knowledgable and gave us a very detailed test drive showing off all the cars potential but was never trying to be pushy towards a sale. She introduced us to the service staff and Kolbi was very helpful in explaining the service plans etc. When we need a replacement for this lovely car, we will certainly return to Harris Kia. 10/10 to everyone we had contact with. I just wanted to say that this was my first time buying from a car lot. Always bought used from auctions or private sales. I was a little worried but when I saw the car I wanted online I called and spoke t from a car lot. Always bought used from auctions or private sales. I fell in love with both. I chose a 2005 Hyundai Sanata and am so happy! It is everything I wanted in a car. Had RJ not been as friendly and helpful I would not have bought from the dealership and would have ended up buying from an unknown source. And then Chris also was very helpful and friendly and showed me the wonders of my new car! When and if I buy again it will be here where I was treated fairly and very kindly. Ahmed sold my wife Kandace and I a new Rondo from the showroom floor. I liked him as a salesperson because he listened before he spoke and made us aware of the vehicle features, options and performance t showroom floor. He was courteous and attentive at all times without being pushy. He did make it clear all the while that his intent was to do business as we made it obvious that we were not wasting his time either. He was not afraid to ask for the sale when the time was right and the negotiation went quite smooth. All of the staff were extremely warm and friendly, seemingly happy to be part of the team. The business manager was the same. He was forewarned by me not to expect to make any money from us as financing was not on the table and do to the warranty coverage on the new Kia he would not be left with much of a chance. He was very respectful of this which capped off our overall experience as top quality. The parts and service staff seem to be on top of things as well, friendly and knowledgable. Footnote....I was in the car business for six years for Jim Pattison on the mainland and Joe Cunningham in Nanaimo both as a salesman and a service writer. My wife and I looked at Honda and Hyundai as well but were most impressed by the product and services we found at Harris Kia. We will recommend this store to anyone shopping for a car.
